I booked an online reservation and went to check in, and the man working told me they didn’t have my available room after back and forth with another coworker on the phone about how to solve the situation. He also decided that that was a lovely time to take a personal phone call. They were doing renovations apparently and couldn’t give me the original room. Told me there was nothing he could do and just slid me a percentage off for a future visit (without any info so I can’t even use it) and said to have a good night. Didn’t offer a refund or different room. I had to forcefully ask to be placed in a different room. I booked this room a month in advance and got no phone call about renovations or my room needing to be changed. I got to my room and there was a stain on the couch and there was stains all over one of the top blankets. The wall sockets didn’t even support the weight of my own charger. Our door barely closed and didn’t lock correctly and it looked like our room was broken into before by the state of our door. housekeeping came and did rounds the next morning, they didn’t even announce themselves and just tried to get into our room (luckily we had the top lock on while taking a nap and we also had the do not disturb sign on our door). House keeping didn’t even bother coming at all the rest of our stay after this. This was the most disrespectful and disappointing stay I’ve ever experienced and I will not be giving this place another chance.
