We did not stay in the hotel but we had dinner in the bar on four nights, great home cooked food, portions were great also. Good selection of drinks available The hotel is well positioned for local fishing lochs. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.

Stayed for one night when having a look round the north of the country. Lovely wee country hotel which I could tell would have great craic of a weekend with a few locals in the bar. Recovering from a minor procedure I was only able to eat soup but Wow was the soup good! Saw other plates leaving the kitchen to feed some local lads and all looked and smelled great. Room was basic but perfectly functioning, plenty hot water for showering and very clean, bed a little too soft for my liking but still slept well until the cockerel started at 4am (Grrr). The Lady of the house could not have been more helpful, asking if there was anything I needed, how my room was etc. I was able to pay my bill in the evening so didn't have to worry in the morning, I could just put myself together and head off on my jolly. Really happy this is where I landed. Having read some of the other reviews about people using it as a base for fishing I've recommended it to my Dad who's a keen angler, loves a dram and a craic - perfect place for him.

Very friendly owner and staff, stayed for three nights to do some fishing and couldn't have asked for more. Lovely breakfasts and evening meals. Great banter in the bar if you're looking for the local fishing chat and a superb stock of malts and local beers. Already booked next years stay!

Went on a short fishing trip in the area and stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, the staff were just fantastic and couldn't do enough for us, the food was excellent and great value with huge portion sizes, both at breakfast and dinner. Rooms were spotless and beds comfortable. All in all I can't really fault the place and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to others, I will certainly use again if ever back in the area.

A very well run establishment from room to evening meals and breakfast has been a pleasure to stay here .Wi-Fi all round television ,on suite complementary coffee and tea with very nice biscuits I might add parking and the added bonus is the bar

Great place for me & my hound whilst working in the Highlands. Donna couldn’t have done any more to make our stay any better. Great food, generous portions, nothing to fault, & a great selection of whisky from all over the country. Be back at some point.
