紅雪松汽車旅館(Red Cedars Motel)

What we needed for a quick trip. For an older hotel it was very clean, and I wasn’t expecting daily housekeeping for a 4 day stay so that was a nice surprise. Front desk were a bit rude but didn’t impact our stay.

The location was great Broken tiles in shower unable to have showers exposed wires in the kitchen both kitchen and shower dripped The people next door were so loud we were unable to sleep and we had to leave at 5.30am due to lack of sleep Staff were polite and friendly

We have stayed here numerous times as it is handy to our family nearby. Even though it looks older it is comfortable and meets our needs. The kitchenette is nice and new.

Excuses for not offering Wi-Fi as a standard amenity expired a decade ago. While the property manager was kind in allowing me to check in early, she refused a move to a closer room so that I could connect to their Wi-Fi. Their router resides in the lobby and it’s signal is too weak to reach guest rooms. I patiently explained and demonstrated this, but the manager insisted it was merely weather and refused my request to change rooms. Access to internet is great for employees who sit at reception but there isn’t even a chair for hotel guests in case I were willing to sit at the check in counter to access the internet. I’ll add that I had better access to internet in remote parts of Afghanistan than I did here. This is quite unlike any hotel I’ve ever stayed at in all of Australia. It’s simply disingenuous to even list Wi-Fi as an included amenity because in a very real sense, they don’t provide it and I would have stayed elsewhere if I had known.

Comfortable, generally clean although some mould in bathroom but awesome shower head and slept very well. Would be happy to stay again

This is the best motel we have stayed at in a long time and we keep going back to it when in Canberra.

Tbh I looked at this place and thought it may be a little dingy but I was working close by so booked it- I LOVED my stay, the room was sparkling clean, had everything I needed in it, great location and the staff went above and beyond!!! After a big day of work, I needed a phone charger and called the after hours number, not only did the staff member go back to reception to find me a charger to borrow, she came and delivered it to my door with the biggest smile and was the epitome of friendly. I will definitely be staying here again for any further trips,

Hi The lady was a little abrupt on check in a friendly attitude might have been nice. I was asking if there was a microwave in the room and had to wait until right at the end for the answer. Room was okay but there was a stale smoke smell in the room. Perhaps a carpet shampoo or even change if carpet.

Good value accommodation with an easy walk to Epic/Convention centre. No complaints.
