阿什尼爾桑布魯營地飯店

We zijn hier een paar nachten geweest. Prachtige accommodatie, midden in het park. De mooie tenten, zijn luxe, ruim en heel schoon. Personeel is erg aardig en willen alles doen om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Wij hebben een bushdinner aan de rivier gedaan, wat absoluut één van de highlights was van onze rondreis door Kenia. Dank aan iedereen in Samburu!

Een prachtig gelegen lodge in het Samburu Buffalo Springs Wildpark. Mooie grote tenten, met ruime bedden, prima sanitair en volop ruimte in de tent. Ondanks volop geluiden rondom hebben we hier heerlijk geslapen. We werden gewaarschuwd om de tenten steeds af te sluiten, omdat er volop apen rondliepen. Het park ligt aan een schitterende rivier, en op de achtergrond lopen volop giraffen, buffels, elanden, herten, struisvogels en olifanten, sommige letterlijk op 50 meter afstand, aan de overkant van de rivier. Het mooie van deze lodge is dan ook dat je game drive al na enkele meters rijden begint: in dit park hebben we drie dagen lang genoten van de mooiste dieren, met als hoogtepunt wel een grote groep leeuwen. Het centrale gebouw is erg mooi van opzet, open, ruim en met prachtig uitzicht op het park. Het personeel is allervriendelijkst, niets is te veel. Omdat we graag Keniaans eten wilden proeven heeft de kok speciaal voor ons lokale gerechten gemaakt. Heerlijk!

Nous étions logés au Ashnil lodge côté Buffalo Spring, séparés de la réserve Samburu par la rivière Ewaso. Un camp confortable, paisible, avec de belles tentes au milieu du jardin. Les éléphants dans le lit de la rivière, impalas , marabouts, tantales ibis face à notre lodge! Des safaris riches en découvertes : lions côté Samburu; guépards…belles girafes etc… Un guide ornitho, Jon, très intéressant ! Un personnel très serviable et sympathique. Nous y sommes restés 3 nuits.

Sehr schönes, gut gelegenes Hotel, direkt am Fluss. Zimmer bzw. Lodge, sauber, schöne Aussicht. Garten top mit Affen und Vögel. Essen sehr gut, Personal sehr freundlich. Hat alles gepasst. Swimmingpool gibt es ebenfalls mit Liegen.

Notre séjour au Ashnil Samburu Camp restera un souvenir mémorable de notre séjour au Kenya. Il est situé dans la réserve de Buffalo Springs où nous avons pu faire des observations exceptionnelles. L’emplacement du camp est idéal, en bordure de rivière et dans une verdure luxuriante. Les tentes sont très confortables et les repas excellents. Mais ce qui démarque vraiment ce camp des autres, c’est l’accueil. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse et d’une amabilité exceptionnelles. Nous pouvons notamment mentionner Sheila lors des repas, Murubi au bar ou Henry à l’accueil, mais toute l’équipe est à féliciter pour leur travail remarquable qui nous a permis de passer un séjour de 3 nuits idyllique. À mentionner également les massages de qualité. Nous ne vous oublierons pas!

This camp already comes with many wonderful reviews, and I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. There are not many ‘mid-range’ price camps in the Samburu area but Ashnil is a great choice. Comfortable accommodation, decent shower, very peaceful setting. All meals are good particularly the main courses. But the stand out feeling I had from Ashnil Samburu is the people, who were all so warm, friendly and kind. This is what makes a memorable stay. Asante sana.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met 2 overnachtingen. Niets op aan te merken, heerlijk eten, propere kamer, goede bedden. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en ze zijn er ook heel kindvriendelijk. Prachtig uitzicht op de rivier. Ik zou hier zeker terugkomen!

Bush Meals: On request, the camp organizes "Bush Breakfasts" or "Sundowners" (drinks at sunset) in the middle of the reserve for a truly immersive experience.

We just finished our 19 day safari with 23 people. All of them agreed that this was the best place that we stayed. Roomy, well appointed tents. You could see elephants across the river when you got up in the morning. Nice pool. Great staff. And the food was the best! NO BUFFETS. All meals were off a menu, well prepared and beautifully presented. WOW! And the serving staff were also the best...professional and attentive. Can't wait to go back!
