We visited the museaum with our 2 children - age 10 and 12 What a fun experience !! My kids did not want to leave. There was something for everyone is every room and the secret doors made it so exciting ! We would highly recommend this to anyone, all ages!

We discovered this museum through friends and were not disappointed. It is truly amazing. We were overwhelmed by the amount of interesting and unique artifacts scattered throughout the mansion. We were told about the hidden doors throughout the 100+ rooms within the mansion and were proud of the fact we found over 10 of these doors which led to numerous rooms to check out and explore. Can't wait to go back to discover more rooms and see the interesting artifacts. AMAZING place!

I visited the Mansion on O Street with friends to take the hidden doors tour and loved the experience! The mansion has been beautifully restored and every room is filled chock-a-block with art, antiques, books and celebrity memorabilia in every category. It was so much fun moving through the labyrinth of rooms taking in the contents while, at the same time, trying to locate the hidden doors that often led to secret passages to another room with yet another story or theme. This would be a great family activity or even a unique first date that would surely be memorable snd oitstanding. The host and volunteer docents were most welcoming and attentive.

Is the Mansion On O Street a hotel or is it a museum? It is a dual personality facility as an American luxury boutique hotel and also a unique museum housed in the Dupont Circle District of Washington. This mega mansion contains 100 rooms, 70 secret doors, legendary room and a bevy of unusual exhibits. I got a rush from the John Lennon room, an ode to Bob Dylan's guitar and remnants of Prince's Purple Rain ensemble. I'm a rocker, so music memorabilia is my forte, but i did browse through other unique attractions. I was enthralled with my one bedroom suite, behind a hidden door, an eclectic Victorian spectacle, heavy furniture, packed with artworks and quirky novelties......wow. So, if you are looking for a hotel to be explored like no other hotel............then try the .........Mansion On O Street.............one of the grooviest places in DC.

We had a group dinner at the Mansion on O Street. We arrived and had the first hour to grab a cocktail and explore the mansion and all its hidden doors and memorabilia. We then had dinner in a lovely room off the back patio. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Madison was a delight to work with on all the details. Everyone had a great time. If you are looking for a truly unique group dining experience, the Mansion on O Street is your answer.

Can’t say Ive ever experienced something like this before. Try to go during non peak hours as having the space more to yourself probably makes the mystery and discovery more surprising. A fun activity for kids of all ages. Not great if you have mobility challenges and spaces can be tight, steps everywhere and uneven floors. Lots of places to trip.
