皇家克拉倫斯旅館(The Royal Clarence Hotel (on the Seafront))

Stayed for two nights over Bank Holiday, the Royal Clarence Hotel is quite superb for it's cleanliness and presentation and has obviously been renovated extensively with private parking. The seafront view was excellent with as much tea and coffee as needed. The en-suite was nearly as big as the bedroom with a double shower, which was really appreciated after a rainy walk down the esplanade. Enclosed balcony was really nice just to relax in. Bed was comfortable with bedside lamps which worked - which is always appreciated. No meals are provided but you can use the dining room or an excellent range of cafe's and restaurants are within a five minute walk. All in all, we plan to return. Thanks to Nick and Ellie

Love love love this place. Have been Staying here several times a year whith my partner for the last 4 yesrs. Nick is always so accommodating. Rooms are always spotless and every staff member we have encountered are nice and friendly. Brought my sister for her first time for a little bit of girly time and she fell in love. Can't wait for the next time.

Front door to Hotel extremely difficult to open.Needs to be fixed urgently before somebody hurts their wrist trying to open it. A man appeared to reception within a few seconds of us stepping in.He listed us a list of what sounded like terms and conditions of staying on the premises which took approximately what appeared to be 2 minutes and finished with”Any Questions?”.We just wanted to depart reception at that stage. The room itself was clean and tidy with tea and coffee facilities. Basically you let yourself in and out of the hotel and no feeling of being in a hotel was ever present. If you are just looking for a room to stay whilst in Burnham On Sea,this is perfect but do not expect any sort of hotel experience or attention from staff.

This is the second time me & my family have stayed at The Royal Clarence & always receive a warm welcome from Nick & Ellie. Its a lovely hotel situated opposite the beach with plenty of shops & places to eat. The rooms were clean, comfortable & have everything you need. We all slept well & really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.

Lovely two night stay at the hotel with easy access to town and transport links. Would recommend and stay again.

Full marks for location and sea view. You can’t get better than this. Clearly it’s an old hotel with lots of stairs and corridors but our room was bright, newly decorated and exceptionally clean with a nice modern bathroom. Great price point and helpful gent on reception.

Not the most friendliest of welcomes. Got very clear instructions on dos and donts in the hotel. Parking limited but luckily we managed to get a space. Sea view room had great views towards Welsh coast and was very clean. It had a nice bathroom. Internet connection poor. Room 21 is a lot of stairs with luggage so not recommended for anyone with mobility issues as no lifts. Great location close to Wetherspoons for breakfast as there’s none available at hotel. Lovely walk along the promenade. Nice shops in the town. Found a lovely deli and farm shop. Wouldn’t return here as not much to see apart from good walks.

I had the small single room 13 and it was lovely. Spotlessly clean and with a sea view. The room had everything I needed (kettle etc) the bed was comfy. It doesn’t have an en suite bathroom, but a lovely private bathroom opposite of which I had the only key for, again, it was spotless. I only stayed one night but wish it had been longer. There is no food, but I knew that so took my own, although the owner went to the trouble of giving me a map with local restaurants circled. Im hoping to be back for another stay soon.

Great seaside hotel. I was met with a smile and a "How are you?" I had a single bed room with en suite. It was perfect for my stay as I was only there to have dinner and sleep--golf excursion.
