Grand Hyatt Deer Valley

Dissapointed! The first surprise was that there was no parking. You have no choice but to valet for $50 per day. This is a joke because this particular hotel is in the middle of no where! They call it Hyatt deer valley, but really its 15mins from deer valley by Jordanelle resevoir! When i think of valet, I think of downtown! Places where parking would be a problem, they simply did not use any of their footprint for parking; and we pay the price! This is the kind of place that will nickle and dime you to death! You're better off staying at one of the lodges! My biggest gripe is that the bed is very uncomfortable! It is way too soft and offers no support for your body! I'm only 180lbs, and I could only imagine a larger person trying to sleep on it. My wife and I got no sleep, constantly turning trying to ease our sore bodies. I do not recommend. I think this place is over priced and not looking out for their guest's. I will say, that the place is absolutely beautiful! Very nice pool, lobby and fitness center. They also have a restaurant and a coffee shop. I asked the mgr. When I checked in if they had coffee, and he sent me to the coffee shop in the basement, but it was closed at 5pm

This property was absolutely stunning and the perfect place to retreat, relax, and rejuvenate. We are especially grateful to the front desk team: Carter and CK for taking such great care of us and anything we needed throughout our stay. The minute you drive up, the valet staff: Ross & Delores were the warmest welcome and made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to come back soon- thanks for an incredible experience.

The rooms paid were corner units - the blinds don’t cover the window - woken up at 6am daily Breakfast was awful Passed along concerns at checkout - team was very dismissive This place is considered a one and done - many other solutions exist

The property was great. Super clean and beautful. The staff was amazing. The only thing that really ****** if your a light sleeper the beds have automatic lights at the bottom base that come on when you step down off the bed and at night if you get up to go to the bathroom it wakes everyone up because the lights turn on. If they had a switch to turn them off then it might be a great idea but not good if you are a light sleeper. Not sure I’d stay again.

Smack dab between Heber and Park City, very different little towns with some good restaurants and shops. The area is going to be a nice resort someday, but the current construction ruins the vibe just a little. This stay was full of thoughtful touches—the room was nice, the staff were very friendly, and the "high hot chocolate experience" was a lot of fun! The pool area was very nice, and we really enjoyed all the outdoor seating with warm fire. (A s'mores bar nearby would've been fun too!) It was a little hard to find information about parking online, so we weren't sure what to expect, but it's valet-only, at $50 or $60 a night depending on your vehicle's size. You can ski right out of the resort and come back to food and hot cocoa and rest, which seems really nice. If I'm ever skiing in the area, I'll definitely come back!

Had to check this place out while in town visiting family. I have to say I will be back. Beautiful building, brand new on the other side of Deer Valley. Great coffee shop. Amazing pool and hot tub. Great kids lounge with ping pong, video games, etc. There is some construction in the area, but the views, activities, facilities, and service made it our new go to spot in Deer Valley/Park City.
