The worst customer service!!!!!!! We have stayed at this hotel numerous times when visiting Warren Ohio and never have had a problem. Made a reservation for 2 queen beds, standard room, I was traveling with my husband and adult daughter. We arrived after 10 PM for our reservation. Upon check in the clerk did not tell us our room was changed to a king bed and pull out sofa as well as informed us that the elevator was not working and we had to carry our luggage up the flight of steps to our room. When arriving in our room we find out that we did not have the right room type. I approached the clerk and she told me I did not book that type a room but a general reservation. I showed her my email, which indicated a standard room with two queen beds. She told me I could cancel but I said no because we were exhausted from our 9 hour drive and we had no where else to go. Our room had torn curtains, when walking in the room in socks, my husbands feet were black. The jets in the jacuzzi tub were dirty. The following morning I complained to the manager about the wrong reservation and she stated their computer system had a clinch and that was a common problem, I asked to switch rooms for that night's stay and she stated she had no other rooms available. I again showed the manager my email confirmation and requested some compensation and she told me that she would not give us any compensation because I reserved the wrong room when first talking to me, she stated their was a clinch in the computer system. I then complained about the poor costumer service and she told me to check out. I was dumbfounded and stated I had a family function and had no other place to stay at that given moment and had to leave for an appointment. Upon return, the manager called us and refunded the first night stay and told us we had to leave. We. made a reservation across the street at the Hampton Inn and had wonderful service.
