Jenny is a wonderful host, friendly and happy to meet the travelers that visit her B&B. The rooms are spacious and lovingly decorated, it truly felt like staying in a friend's home. The location is quiet but not far from town, with off-street parking. The bathroom included intricate tile work and a spacious shower. There's a patio adjacent to the two rooms with a table & chairs. It wasn't quite warm enough to enjoy it when we were there, but another day that would be a great place to spend some time. Browns Boutique B&B is your best choice in Whanganui.

Excellent B&B, spacious and wonderful hostess. Provided helpful recommendations for dinner and sight seeing. While certainly walkable to center of town we used our car. Would certainly recommend to others staying or passing through Whanganui.

What a lovely, welcome haven of peace and tranquility this lovely bed and breakfast is. We were only here for one short night but the welcome and service from Jenny was second to none. We really appreciated the beautiful room, the fresh homemade gingerbread cake, and in the morning, after a great night’s sleep, the light but perfectly adequate breakfast provisions in the sunroom attached.

A beautifully decorated and warm room awaited our arrival. Jenny was super friendly and helpful. The bathroom is huge with a glorious bathtub and underfloor heating. Breakfast is included and delicious. The room is private and set on the other side of the main house with garden views.

This is a beautiful place to stay! With a warm, friendly welcome from Jenny, we were shown to our suite - a stunningly furnished space that was just perfect for our stay. Everything we needed, and a superb breakfast delivered to our room in the morning. Definitely recommend!

Hard to imagine a more elegant and relaxing place to stay in Whanganui. Beautiful decor, subtle amenities and everything just right. Plus, charming owners. It is an increasingly interesting town with a vibrant scene of design, architecture, and artistic life which sits easily with its farming and colonial heritage.
