Whanganui River Top10 Campground is our local gem, boasting fantastic amenities like a pristine pool and playground that our two sons love. The staff are friendly and accommodating, allowed us a late check out due to a family brunch and wet awning! It's our go-to spot for camping, especially when we have functions on in town. Highly recommended for a convenient and enjoyable getaway.

Nice location, nice people - buildings though a bit tired.otherwise this place was good. The camp ground sits on the Wanganui river about 8 kms out of the city, it was easy to bus in $3 each way or bike in about 14-20 mins mainly on a bike track.

Great clean facilities. Camp perfect for families with playground, swimming pool & concrete for biking & scooters. We had a caravan & family stayed in a unit & everyone loved their stay. Have stayed before & have already booked again.

A lovely stay in well kept grounds and clean facilities. Buildings are older but well maintained and everything works well. We had a caravan and a good level site on pad plus grass area for awning. Service was excellent from staff

Great hosts, happy camping. I’ll definitely recommend to anyone coming here. The hosts are brilliant and the facilities are excellent. I’m proud that this holiday park is in my city. It’s definitely a jewel in Wanganuis crown.

Tented here over the xmas period and was really happy with the site and service. The overflow paddock we set up in was awesome as gave us good space for our bigger setup. Had/ witnessed a couple of unfriendly interactions between the female owner and guests which was the only negative.
