A lucky find! Convenient location, close to Leytonstone underground station. Perfect as we had tickets for ABBA Voyage. We booked three rooms, all slightly different, very comfortable, lovely decor. Had food in the pub, typical pub food, reasonably priced. We would definitely return.

The room itself was nice enough, although not as good as the room we had last time. There was a party going on in the pub until 1am, lots of street noise and cars racing up and down the road, so we didn't get to sleep until gone 1am. However, this was to be expected in Leytonstone High Street and above a pub. What was NOT expected, was some random man walking into our LOCKED hotel room at 7:30am! Somehow, this person had entered the supposedly secure building & despite us locking the door from the inside, using the outside handle just unlocked and opened the door without needing the key card. Luckily I was able to get the man to leave but anything could've happened (especially to a female staying there alone) and my partner was unable to get back to sleep afterwards. We'd been out all evening whilst the party was going on & anyone could've come into our room, taken our belongings etc. I've contacted the company that owns this venue by email and phone, but have had no response whatsoever. It would seem they don't care about the security of their guests, once they have your money. We certainly won't be staying here again.

Ich war mit meinem Sohn mehrfach in diesem wirklich grandiosem Pub während unseres Londonaufenthalts. Das Personal, aber auch die Gäste waren extrem freundlich und wir haben uns dort pudelwohl gefühlt. Als während der EM auf den Bildschirmen das Schottland Spiel gezeigt wurde, haben sie extra für uns auf einem Bildschirm das zeitgleich laufende Spiel der Deutschen Mannschaft eingeschaltet. Die Speisen auf der Karte klangen durch die Bank großartig. Probiert haben wir die Burger (Fleisch und Veggie) sowie ganz klassisch Fish & Chips. Wir waren begeistert.

Stayed here as it was in the area I needed to be in for a conference. Check in was quick and efficient and the man who checked me in kindly took my suitcase up the stairs for me. I was top floor so there were quite a few stairs but by the end of the week I was a bit fitter ! The entrance to the hotel Is separate to the bar so don't need to go to the bar after checked in. The staircase is lovely with chandeliers and books and pictures the rooms are named after Kings and Queens My room the Mary room was beautiful. The beds are so comfortable with gorgeous velvet pillows. As I was under the roof and it was painted dark green with only small window it was quite dark. Nice view over the city buildings especially lit up at night. The room got cleaned regularly and was kept in good order. There is a hairdryer and iron and lots of cupboard space There is a fridge which is handy. Teas black green earl grey herbal and coffee pods milk and biscuits are provided . There are instructions for the coffee machine and its very tasty proper coffee which I enjoyed. Everything is nice quality. There is nice smelling aromatherapy shower gel shampoo conditioner hand soap and cream. The shower is a rain shower nice and hot. The wallpapers are beautiful . There is a little radio too I looked forward each night to sink into my beautiful Queens bed. I might have to buy velvet pillows now. The pub was very quiet , I wasn't there for the weekend though. There was some arguing outside the first night I think from another place. Also it shakes ! Which I realised must be from the underground underneath which is about 3 mins walk. Got used to it after the 1st night. There are shops and restaurants and cafes about 1 minute away which is convenient. Would stay again miss the bed !

La struttura si trova a pochi minuti dalla stazione delle metro, perciò è comoda da raggiungere. La camera è carina e ben isolata quindi, anche se si trova in una posizione un pochino rumorosa, si riesce a dormire bene. Mi è dispiaciuta l'esperienza vissuta all'arrivo perchè mi ha veramente messa a disagio poichè non avevo letto da nessuna parte l'informazione che la struttura non accettasse pagamenti in contati per la camera perciò, io e il mio compagno, non avevamo un saldo sufficiente sulla carta per fare il pagamento. La ragazza che ci ha accolti è stata abbastanza arrogante e fredda in quanto, nonostante fossero praticamente le 23:00 di sera e avessimo viaggiato tutto il giorno, ci ha trattato praticamente come se fossimo dei ladri che non avessero intenzione di pagare e pretendeva che trovassimo una soluzione immediatamente per realizzare il pagamento. Fortunatamente, il personale con cui abbiamo parlato nei giorni a seguire, è stato molto gentile e alla fine siamo riusciti a risolvere il problema.

The hotel cancelled our booking the day before. *********** informed us, giving no reason. I had to ring the hotel and find out what happened. When I did they said it was because of a maintenance issue but was also told they had a wedding party staying at the hotel so obviously wasn't affecting all of their rooms! No doubt they had an extra guest from the party to accommodate. Never stayed there before and won't be in the future and have told family and friends not to bother. *********** did offer us an alternative hotel, in Wembley! 20 miles away! Very helpful! Had to reluctantly give them 1 star so I could write the review but not worth that!
