An excellent hotel with charming staff and in a wonderful location. The room was extremely comfortable and superbly presented. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was very good indeed. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to fellow travellers.

Absolutely lovely hotel with one problem—AVOID room 2 at all costs and make sure you’re not put in it! It’s over the boiler/pizza oven. Like a sauna, whatever the weather outside. No air conditioning and fans/portable AC not good enough to resolve it. Staff (Dan, Kim, housekeeping, thank you!) were fabulous and helped us but we couldn’t move for first night. Owners need to resolve this problem, as putting paying guests in the room knowingly is very negligent. We saw new guests go in the next night and I’m sure they were as uncomfortable as we were. Other rooms (3,5) absolutely delightful, everything spotless, beds comfy, cool vibe. Dinner at restaurant as part of big group was wonderful all round.

Probably some of the best views anywhere from the Hotel terrace. Our room was very good, the service by all members of staff was excellent, the food was good, especially if you are a pizza fan. In our opinion this really isn’t the place for disabled guests, particularly if you have mobility difficulties or in a wheelchair. The accessible room, which is large, comfortable and very practical, for some inexplicable reason is the furthered away from the lift, through 3 heavy doors nd a couple of tight corners. To go down to the restaurant/bar is even worse with even more doors to negotiate. The Hotel has no parking but there are some public spaces in front of the Hotel on a first come basis. Must be near impossible in the summer months as these spaces are quickly taken up every morning by the surfing community. Bit pricey, but then that’s Cornwall.

We booked a last-minute one-night stay over a weekend in October and had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is modern and the room was very comfortable overall, perfect for a short stay. The bed was a little soft for our liking but the room was very quiet and there were some nice touches such as the fresh milk for tea/coffee. Breakfast was delicious and really good value for money. Location is superb, just above the amazing beach at Polzeath. Looking forward to our next visit!

I booked 3 twin rooms for a girly birthday weekend. The beach side location is unbeatable, the rooms were spacious and beautifully presented (great mini bar in the room fridge with fresh milk for tea!) and the food in the restaurant was fab. Thanks to Laura for her attentive pre-stay organisation. Such a lovely stay.
