A bit hard to find the entrance, if you’re driving (not a bad thing!), this guesthouse is in the center of the town and literally a hip and a skip from the city’s attractions, restaurants, and if you have a pet that needs to go for a walk - very close to the city park. Vranje is, admittedly, off the beaten path, in Southern Serbia, about half way between Belgrade and Skopje, smaller and quieter than either, and tucked away in the mountains. I picked the guesthouse primarily because of them being explicitly pet friendly, for its location in the center of town -- and inside of a secured gate. The warm Balkan hospitality, the friendly, and attentive staff, made my brief stay even nicer! The room was modern, well designed, *spacious* and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, and accommodating. The real surprise was the hearty breakfast, served at the attached cafe (see photo!). Plus, at night there are many grill (yes, treat yourself to some tasty cevapi with Ajvar) and traditionally cooked offerings - if you’re in Vranje, consider making this your lodging!
