This was the 2nd time we have been to VOMO as we loved it so much the first we had to return. The service is excellent and they will go out of their way to do everything they can to make your stay more comfortable. The food was excellent, the room was comfortable and always clean and tidy. The highlight of our trip was learning to dive - my wife and I completed our Open Water Certificate last year with Hannah and made the decision to return to complete our Advanced Open Water. Hannah was extremely organised and came and found us on our arrival day to sit down to introduce herself and devise a plan for the week including selecting from some incredible dive sites. She was an exceptional teacher, clearly explaining everything required and patiently working with us to improve our diving. It was very clear the passion she brought to her work and to conservation of the reef. We felt extremely safe diving for the first time with Hannah guiding us - so much so that my wife and I decided she was the only person we wanted to do our Advanced Open Water with.

This is our third trip to a resort on one of Fiji's outer islands. We spent 4 nights at VOMO Island Resort in early October 2024. Crystal clear waters, clear blue skies, and pristine white sands! Thanks for all the prompt reply emails and we have finally booked our magical escape at VOMO Island Resort. The Boat Transfer and Check-in: Although our boat transfer was significantly delayed, the staff from VOMO at Vuda Marina made excellent arrangements for us. We were able to enjoy meals at nearby restaurants and indulge in any food and drinks, including ice cream, from the shops around. Ocean Play: Snorkelling, Freediving and Scuba Diving: GREETINGS from the ocean floor! The best spot is just under VOMO Lailai!!! You'd be surprised at the wonders VOMO Lailai house reef has in store for you. With the house reef rich in vibrant marine life at VOMO Lailai, you are assured to discover something or someone new every day during your casual snorkelling. We have encountered all kinds of marine animals, Sea turtle, Anemonefish such as Tomato Clownfish and Clarks Clownfish; Blacktip and Whitetip sharks; Groupers; Trevally; Butterflyfish; Angelfish; Hawkfish; Surgeonfish; Triggerfish; Pufferfish; Boxfish; Unicornfish; Hind; Parrotfish; Sweetlips and Moorish Idol. Hannah Quigley, the Dive Manager, went above and beyond to address all our needs during our stay. Her respectful and attentive demeanour truly enhanced our experience at VOMO. The memories we created were even more special thanks to her prompt responses and her dedication to ensuring we had everything we requested. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for her outstanding service. The experience of the daily snorkel safari was excellent; both the captain and the dive guide were very professional. BEACHFRONT VILLA #12 It had breathtaking panoramic ocean view and the seating area outside the room was spacious. We have found the perfect spot to relax while listening to the lapping waves. Lying in the beach hammock and spend away the mid-summer noon with your loved ones. Let yourself be treated to unparalleled panache and a dream filled thought made a reality only at VOMO. The Vuda Reef Restaurant and Vuda Bar: We were spoiled for choices at all-day. This is for a culinary experience worth cherishing for years. The breakfasts can be as blissful as it seems. Each dish served for both lunch and dinner are exquisite and delectable you can order whatever on the menu. Desserts are fabulous not to mention the extensive beverage selection served all day at Vuda Bar. Birthday Celebration We celebrated Lucy's birthday on the morning of our checkout day at The Reef Restaurant. The service team sang a birthday song and provided a beautiful chocolate cake. It’s hard to explain how wonderful this place is. It is so unique and the staff is so wonderful that I wish it weren’t so far away, being from the States. We’ve never vacationed anywhere like it. From the accommodation to the food and the service, everything is just so magical. We had the best time and would love to come back someday. The other glowing reviews are legit, it really is that good.

We just returned from our third trip to Vomo. There is a reason why so many guests are returns guests. You couldn't possibly want anything more from a holiday. Beautiful beach, relaxing vibe (even when the resort is full you never feel it), excellent food (with great variety - after 10 days we never felt tired of the food) and amazing kids club. Justin, Melanie and their entire team do an amazing job at ensuring you have an outstanding stay. Kids club cater to all ages, they did an amazing job with our 8 and 10 year old boys.... we thought they would have outgrown it but Vomo have a crew of wonderful young men who keep the older boys active and entertained, which gave us much needed time out. We thought this would be our last trip to Vomo but we've already rebooked :)

Luxury accommodation, exceptional dining, and the most genuine, caring and fun environment for the whole family that we have ever experienced. I’ve never seen my teenager so willingly leave his phone for a whole day and disconnect from social media! All made possible not only by the beauty of the island but the beauty of its staff. Natural and genuine care and kindness in every interaction and so much joy and happiness. The food is beyond compare - both varied and delicious at every meal. We especially need to call out the Ocean Play and activities team for how much fun they made the holiday for both our boys - from learning about turtle conservation to beach volleyball each afternoon that turned into quite the competition! Lai the marine biologist was so patient with our youngest who was full of questions - and I can’t even name all of the awesome guys that kept the teenagers laughing and playing all day! There is such an array of bespoke and curated experiences to enjoy, although the simple pleasure of waking in the morning and walking straight into crystal blue waters to snorkel amongst vibrant reef and fish is still a highlight. Much of the team at Vomo have been there for many years - which speaks volumes of why the staff seem so happy and genuinely enjoying their jobs… something that translates into their investment in making every stay a special one. We have already booked to return, which will be our third visit of no doubt many more. A place to unwind, to disconnect from things that bring stress into your life and to reconnect as a family. It is simply an unmatched experience.
