Paço incrível do Século XVII, com o melhor serviço. Fim-de-semana de família no Norte de Portugal. Algumas pessoas já conheciam, mas para a maioria era uma novidade. A localização é perfeita. A casa que foi totalmente restaurada, com detalhes muito bonitos e com decoração muito familiar. A qualidade dos quartos e refeições de grande nível. O Miguel que nos recebeu um grande anfitrião. Muitos Parabéns

We arrived here after a very wet walk along some of the Caminho Way. We were made so welcome and swiftly shown to our room so we could shower and get some dry clothes on. This place is stunning and has been restored very tastefully, recognizing its history and family heritage, but also has beautiful modern spacious bathrooms with large walk in showers etc. Jorge gave us a guided tour of the property and it is clear that he loves his job and is very proud to show guests around. The cellar was amazing with original features preserved including the stone enclosure where the olives were pressed. Our room was very light and airy and the perfect temperature. There was an adjoining lounge which had an enclosed log burner was a lovely place to relax. Forgive me for not remembering your name but the lady who served our meals and generally checked if we needed anything was wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast the following morning were excellent. We really can’t fault our stay here, our only regret is that we were only here for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we would love to return if we are in this part of Portugal

We stayed here as a destination as part of a walking holiday in the Minho region of Portugal. It was definitely the highlight of 5 places we overnighted. A superb house set in lovely gardens with a pool and stunning views. The rooms and internal decoration are first class, as was the food served outside on a terrace (we were there in early June). Special mention for the host George who went out of his way to be helpful and gave us a super tour of the house - even though we were only there for one night. Paco De Vittorino is a short walk from the riverside walk that leads to nearby Ponte De Lima, it’s a lovely flat route that will take a couple of hours. Highly recommended.

Absolutely PERFECT! Impeccable personal service, gorgeous grounds and history. Rooms beautiful and large. Amazing bathroom, lovely linens and towels. Bedroom spacious with view of gardens and mountains beyond, delicious breakfast-should be a 5 STAR!!

Absolute heaven! This was the second time we have stayed here. What can I say..absolute heaven! Firstly the location… it is surrounded by beautiful countryside and mountains to the north. 20 minutes drive from Viana do Castelo and the coast. A 10 minute drive to the beautiful Ponte de Lima. We even got to make corn bread with Agostinho in Montaria. Secondly the hotel…what a mystical place. Steeped in history yet provides all the modern amenities travellers expect. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. Dining in house was a real pleasure. Lastly the staff. I can honestly say I have never met such attention, professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. So polite and happy to show us around the hotel (even the kitchen!) Gave great advice about where to go in the local area. Rosario, George and Miguel…the hotel staff. Wonderful, wonderful people. I ask myself would I stay here again? Damn right I will!
