Das Hotel liegt innerhalb der Stadtmauer und somit in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Altstadt. Es ist offensichtlich inhabergeführt und man gibt sich entsprechend viel Mühe. Das Frühstück ist überschaubar aber ausreichend. Kaffee und Tee gibt es rund um die Uhr kostenfrei. Das Inventar ist auf "alt" getrimmt aber eher jüngeren Datums. Es gibt einen sehr großen Garten mit Bestuhlung, in dem man aber leider nicht rauchen darf. Das ist aber in Schweden eh die Regel. alles in allem eine Empfehlung für Visby

This lovely hotel in historic Visby is a perfect place to stay. Located next to one of the picturesque ruins, it is a short walk from the cathedral and all the sights in this UNESCO World Heritage medieval walled city. The proprietors are a gracious couple who offered excellent advice on restaurants and what to do in town, including a magnificent sunset vista walk. It has an also close to the gorgeous botanical garden which makes a nice early morning stroll. The rooms are charming, spacious, quiet, and impeccably clean. The breakfast is sumptuous and can be enjoyed al fresco in the garden. The best place to stay in Visby!

Visby is a fantastic town and our year 1250hotel room made it even better. Hosts wee a great help with restaurant recommendations, sightseeing and gold. Catch the Baltic sunset at nearby botanical gardens. We really enjoyed our stay………..

This nice hotel is located in a very good location close to Visby main market. The oldest part of the hotel dates back to 13th century which is incredible. Rooms are spacious and renovated with style. The owners are very helpful and kind and we were given rooms well in advance which was appreciated a lot as we were traveling a long way. Just a note that if you're sensitive for noises from traffic, you may want to have your room from main building or facing to garden. Recommended absolutely.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Visby! We were hosted by very friendly people who love what they do. The hotel has a great ambience with very nice rooms. The breakfast menu also left nothing to be desired. Finally, the owner family does everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible for their guests.

We had a great short stay in this charming Inn in the heart of Old town Visby. The location is great the building is an amazing medieval building next to some ruins. The innkeepers are gracious friendly hosts who treated us very well. The breakfast is typical Swedish and good. They have small bar and tea and biscuits around the clock. The weather wasn’t great but we had a great time.

A small very nice family owned hotel. Great location, parking just outside, walking distance to everything in Visby. Great, service minded staff. We had a very small room and an even smaller bathroom but it was very clean. Good breakfast! It’s right next to a church and the bells are ringing every half hour, all night. Would most definitely stay again though!
