Excellent Service and the location is just awesome

Las habitaciones estándar son amplias, pero sin vistas. El mobiliario, el suelo y las paredes presentaban falta de mantenimiento. La caja de seguridad no estaba fijada a la pared. El aire acondicionado era excesivamente ruidoso. La ducha sólo tenía una salida superior fija, y la temperatura del agua oscilaba. Me ofrecieron por correo un upgrade a habitación ejecutiva con vistas, que acepté pero no me aplicaron. Demasiados fallos para un 5 estrellas.

Exelente Servicio las personas que trabajan ahi hacen tu experiencia mas agradable un lugar muy agradable en la recepcion, los camareros, las personas del bar en general fue una experiencia muy grata estar en ese hotel exelente

The Suite room is lavishly spread with enthralling panoramic sea view with private balcony. Only thing was that we wanted higher floor but got 3rd floor which was a kind of little let down. But every other aspects like facilities, House keeping, room service were well taken care. Hospitality was really commendable.. Special service at the restaurant for my B'day by Rama rao and team real... tajness in deed. Thanks for the entire Taj- Vizag team.

Simply outstanding at every level . Courteous well trained staff , super restaurants and classy chefs ( specially the Chinese ) , well kept hotel inspite of dated furniture ( which needs some over hauling perhaps ) …the old world charm supersedes all other short comings if any !

It's a classic property. Location- Right on RK Beach . Easily accessible from every corner of city. All major attractions are not far away from property. Rooms- Lacking in modernization. Needs immediate renovation. Some Rooms are partial sea view. Not so large but decent size. Bathrooms are good but needs renovation. Food- Excellent stuff. Very wide spread in breakfast n buffet dinner. Full marks in hospitality. Hotel have good infra. Sea facing deck , restaurant. Also has swimming pool. Overall it's a classic property to stay with family. Only negative point is Rooms, bathrooms need renovation and don't match with contemporary 5 star standards.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Gateway Hotel Beach Road and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, offering stunning views of the sea and easy access to the beach, which made for a perfect getaway. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The staff were incredibly hospitable and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile.

I suppose we had one of the iconic last days before the old structure was remodeled and thus were part of history! We apparently were checking out on the last day that it was open and it kind of gave you a sense of history as well as nostalgia. Im sure the new version will better the old ONE!

This time I had come with my entire family. My mother has a lot of difficulty in walking due to pain in her knees, due to which I was very worried about how she would manage to come and go to the hotel. But Subramaniam ji provided me a wheelchair from the hotel for the entire time, which helped me a lot and I am grateful to him. Even after this, when I needed some help, Manisha ji helped me a lot all the time and took special care of my entire family, Abbas ji also helped a lot. There are many lovely memories associated with this hotel. And all the staff here is very nice and helpful. The house keeping people are also very good, I don't know their name but they are also very nice people. Thank you very much, will come again to Hotel Gateway Taj

Wonderful stay. Excellent service. Very old property, but well maintained. Views from Rooms were excellent. Very close to beach. Its more of a business hotel, but we can spend a short weekend over here. Our Kids loved it. Food was good & chef served as per dietary requirements. Special mention to GM Gopalkrishnan & his team, Mr Rambabu @ F&B.

They staff (front desk folks checking us in) did not seem to care. The two ladies seems to have been busy with something else. Their manner was more in the line of "Check these folks in and get on with it" The evening duty manager not the other hand was more fitting of the responsibility. He listed and took care of any queries / asks.

I am always happy to stay with Taj, no exception staying in Gateway, Visakhapatnam. I have received all types of help and supports, immense care and hospitality and everything. Although the infrastructure is not as per the standard that Taj normally maintains, but it is understandable that a 35 years old building might have such issues, which is ignorable. I am very happy with everyone here. Starting from the booking assistance to everyday supports and all. Here I want to mention the name of one of your employee Mr. Kanwaljeet Singh, who was the best of them all. He supported and assisted to the extent it is possible for a person. He is amazing. And not only me, I watched him supporting and assisting his fellow employees, all the staff staffs members and each and every boarders in the same manner, which is very cordial, very "Taj".... I wish him all the very best in his life and career with Taj. But I should mention each and everyone of your staffs I came across, and I am more than happy. At the same time I am feeling very sad, that this age old hotel will no longer stand there, as I feel an attachment already. I wish each and every member a Happy Diwali, prosperity and happiness and all the very best. And to the Taj group, I would like to request to please carry the legacy of Mr. Ratan Tata, the beloved person of us all, always, and make Taj even better everyday, staying apart from all. A little run down services including the furniture and infrastructure. Leaking taps . Plumbing fittings need servicing . Doors are creaking , toiletries inadequate. Tardy room service , extreme delay in the front office at check in process etc
