Agriturismo Tenuta la Pila

We had wonderful time at Tenuta La Pila. First the family owner was very welcoming, friendly, professional, helping us out with all our needs and requests. Facilities are very well maintained, clean, very practical. Swimming pool is fantastic, very pleasant, clean, with stretching chairs and sunshades. We could help ourselves with beverages from small and functional kitchen, where we could also warm up small meals, keep food in a refrigerator. Breakfast was very good, well served, diversified very tasteful. We had a number of diners at Tenuta. Excellent food, very tasteful, well served, with beer, wine. The managing couple Bruno and Carlotta are great hostesses. They speak very good English, Portuguese from Brazil and of course Italian. Tenuta is well located close to local restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, reasonable driving distance to Verona and Padova. Totally recommended! We will go back this 2022 summer! Very good experience we want to repeat again!!!

Not trustworthy. My husband and I wanted to host our wedding in 2022 at Tenuta la pila and signed a contract 2020 already, confirming the wedding incl pricelist and services. After one year of back and forth, due to the owner of the location was not reliable in communication (our emails didn’t get answered or sometimes only after months). We have full understanding that this is a family business but not being able to answer an email within 3 months and 5 reminders, is just unprofessional, considering the amount of money we had to spend for their service. As this was not enough they started coming up with new “rules” applying to our wedding we were not aware of during the contract signing in 2020, eg. we’re not allowed to decorate the venue ourselves and we have to hire a partner (for 2k€).. long story short after a lot of energy spent, sleepless nights because of a horrible “cooperation” we unexpectedly received a new price list from Tenuta La pila(even though we signed another one with the contract 2020). Tenuta la pila increased all prices for their services in average of 50%! Receiving that message we felt totally fooled cause this was not what we signed up for a year a go and way beyond our budget.. with this, Tenuta la pila forced us to cancel our whole wedding 9 months before the planned date because of an unreasonable price increase and a horrible “cooperation “ as well. We would not recommend Tenuta la Pila, it was a very unprofessional, disappointing and exhausting experience for us. We can not recommend any cooperation with Tenuta la Pila.
