新市場高級旅館(Pension Neuer Markt)

An antique looking Hotel in a very central location in the central Vienna. Very friendly and helpful front desk and as well a very quick service by the plumber in the late evening. All are good. Yes, pillow was one but I could manage with a folded blanket along with it ;) What was missing are hot water kettle in the room and variations in the breakfast.

We stayed here for 4 nights in December and it was not cheap. The city centre location is excellent with attentive, knowledgeable staff and hearty breakfast provided. What the glossy promotional photo and video does not show is that there are at least 6 rooms (we were 45 - 3rd floor) that face the internal lightwell and in winter this means the single ceiling light needing to be on at all times. These rooms should come with either a health warning in Winter or let at a maximum discount. The room was an essay in brown! Brown ceilings, brown 1/2 wall panelling, brown furniture. The furniture seems to be leftover from the 1970s and is not fit for purpose in the 21st century. There were no facilities to make a hot drink either in the room or communally. There were inadequate sockets - one should not have to scrabble at the side of the bed to choose between bedside lights or charger. The "shower" is located centrally and is ideal for people les than 1.6m tall. The shower's location also ensures the maximum amount of water on the bathroom floor since the splash screen is at one end. The general decor is tired in the common areas with chipped and flaking paint prevalent.

Posizione OTTIMA, super centrale, di fronte alla famosa pasticceria oberlaa, sotto l’hotel potete trovare anche un market. L’hotel è molto datato, stile vecchio, colazione nulla di che, ma quel poco che c’era era buono, (più salata che dolce), se non avete la colazione compresa potete sempre farla alla pasticceria a fianco (ovviamente i prezzi non sono quello italiani). Hotel pulito e personale gentile. Consigliato per chi non vuole chissà cosa ma la comodità di uscire ed essere in centro. Prezzi economici!!! Consigliato!!!

Muy bien situada, en el centro de Viena. Permite ir caminando a las principales atracciones, ópera, edificios monumentales, parques, museos. Transporte público al lado. Comercios, cafés, supermercado...al lado. Antiguo. Limpio, buen desayuno y a resaltar la amabilidad del personal. Me dieron una habitación con amplo ventanal y balcón a la plaza. Muy luminoso y con detalles como albornoz y zapatillas. Productos de aseo. Te pueden llevar a la habitación cafés o bebidas. Buena calefacción. Buena relaccion calidad - precio para el mismo centro de Viena. Pudes dejar las maletas. Tienen una lanzadera para el aeropuerto por un precio razonable. Gracias por su amabilidad.

Nous avons passé cinq nuits dans cette pension. Nous sommes globalement très satisfaits de notre expérience. L’accueil était très chaleureux, notre chambre était spacieuse avec deux lits jumeaux et tout était très propre. Le petit déjeuner est correct. Emplacement idéal, on peut marcher facilement d’un site à l’autre. À noter cependant comme point d’amélioration : les rideaux sont trop courts pour les fenêtres et laissent passer la lumière du jour et celle des réverbères la nuit. L’insonorisation n’est pas terrible et pour finir le chauffage fait un bruit d’eau un peu gênant tout de même.

Ho soggiornato 4 notti in questo b&b, davvero nel cuore di Vienna! Ottima posizione a pochi passi dal Duomo. Camera doppia di grandezza normale, pulita e con bagno privato, presenti anche TV e asciugacapelli. A colazione buffet essenziale ma buono. Apprezzato il servizio di reception 24 ore su 24 e shuttle per aeroporto anche la mattina presto (€40), staff molto gentile (ci hanno anche stampato i biglietti aerei). Nel complesso direi ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo e posizione ideale.

Why I said don't waste your money!!. First when we arrived at the hotel, homeless people in front of the hotel. Dirty around. The bathroom is so ridiculous small but the shower is xxx smal hard to take a shower. The carpet in the room was so dirty. The breakfast place is so antique, small place. I requested a scramble egs, and they said no, sorry, the food you see there is what we have for breakfast, only American coffee, nothing else. No extra choice. I'm so disappointed because of other travelers' reviews, thet said good place, and it's not. I have to be honest because my time, vacation, and money count.

Excellente situation au cœur de Vienne. Belle chambre lumineuse donnant sur la place. Propreté impeccable. Petit déjeuner varié. Il faudrait éventuellement rafraîchir la petite salle de bains. Mais globalement Rien à redire.
