"Our experience at the Charred Oaks Inn was wonderful. Amenities were very nice including a comfortable King Size bed with two high back sitting chairs by an electronic fireplace. It has plenty of 1800’s charm with modern updates. Pamela and Richard were amazing hosts… personable, charming and knowledgeable about area restaurants, distilleries and the equestrian industry. Pamela is a gourmet chef as reflected in amazing breakfasts. We can’t wait to visit again. Melissa & David C."

"Stayed here at the Inn for a nearby wedding. K9 Sadie and Pam were fantastic. Good breakfasts, good chats, all and all a great time. Very cool Inn that is well decorated and free parking. Easy walk into downtown. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very quiet as well."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Charred Oaks Inn. Richard and Pamela are knowledgeable and inviting hosts. Their property is stunning. The rooms are grand with the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep in. They also provide lovely snacks and drinks on arrival. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck with a terrace with a glass of wine watching the squirrels. Thankyou Richard and Pamela for your wonderful hospitality!"

"There were mold spots on the ceiling, doors, baseboards. The comforter on the bed had mold spots. Room smelled musty. There was a dehumidifier in the room but that doesn’t take existing mold away. Bathroom was grimy. Breakfast was pretty good. Was so happy when I got in my car to drive home. "
