戴維磨坊民宿

We stayed in the detached two bedroomed gite with its amazing location overlooking the river with its own private garden and unique outdoor covered dining room. Buzzards soar overhead, kingfishers dart by, moorhens nest, this place is an absolute must for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Fantastic woodpeckers, cuckoo and hoopee can be heard and there is also a long established badger sett. Over the river on an island watch chickens ducks and geese living a wonderful free range life intermingling. We self catered some of the time but Christines home cooked food was an absolute delight when we had had a long day out exploring. This is a good location for walkers, cyclists and a perfect stop off for those en route to other areas. PUY DU FOU is about 1.5 hours away and well worth a visit possibly with an overnight stay. Richard and Christine are fantastic hosts and they aim to make your stay memorable for all the right reasons. Definitely be returning thank you for a wonderful time.

What a fabulous place - at one with nature, by tranquil babbling stream. Well situated for lovely walks. Lovely room, good bed & shower. Nice breakfast. Easy to reach by good road network. Wonderfully hosted by Christine.
