Great place to stay. The little details made a difference. Bed was comfortable, starbucks coffee was a nice surprise. Toiletries were top of the line. Upscale stay with reasonable price. We stayed in the off season so parking was a breeze and nice to have morning walks on the boardwalk.

Everything in the suite was excellent: bed, pillows, bathroom and shower, kitchen. You can't beat the location: steps from the beach. Our first-floor suite was dark with no views––that wasn't expected given the price we paid. But we did enjoy the access to two nice porches with views. The only downside was the way the algorithm increased the price after a few minutes of examining the options: suddenly the lower priced rooms disappeared. But this may have been the fault of the travel platform and not this hotel.

Beware - the hotel is nice, but there is no guaranteed parking and we had to park 8 blocks away and uber to Surrey House. The locks reset every 15 minutes so it kept us awake all night. There is no one working at the property so no way of sharing concerns while you are there. Also the pricing varies a LOT so be careful when you book. We paid twice the amount of other guests. Most importantly, the owner asked for feedback, which we provided. His response was disrespectful, rude, condescending and dismissive. When I return to Ventnor, I would not support his business based on his behavior. Hopefully he'll take a course on customer service as it leaves a lot of be desired!
