V nice resort....only draw back is d pool...as the climate there is too sunny n hot...n pool has no shade.. Being in pool is difficult ...just cant enjoy.....as we get tanned in chlorine water with sun over head all time... Wish they cud plant trees around or make some shade over d pool

Good place as we had been to the place a few years back and now there seems to be ***y changes as it was taken over by Club Mahindra. The reception guy was good and as soon as guests left they upgraded the room to the swimming pool view. Lovely and tasty breakfast and also good amenities.

Excellent stay at the resort. Infrastructure is superb. People in the resort are very friendly. Food was excellent and staff are very courteous. I feel that this the very good option near to Mumbai hence I choose this resort and I feel this is the good resrot of club Mahindra.

Tropicana resort Alibaugh has been taken over by club Mahindra and they are in the process of upgrading it. A new restaurant is being built in the lawns as the current restaurant is on second floor and inconvenient. Happy hub will go in place of old restaurant. A new building with studio apar**ents and new swimming pool is being built in a plot adjacent to current resort with access to the present resort. Present rooms around swimming pool are slightly dated. However with new developments outlined it should become a resort with club Mahindra standards. The villas continue with the original owner.

We Faced several issues. The intercoms in both rooms 5101 and 5102 we're not working, They were repaired the next day. The TV remote in 5101 was not working and it was replaced the next day. The toilet flush stopped working on the last day and was repaired after we called. The SPA, Pool , Bar and the restaurant were good and service was also good There were no signs on the road ,forcing us to take a longer route to reach the resort. Food, bar and Spa were excellent. The restaurant is on 2 nd floor making it difficult for old people to climb up.

Cheating customer displaying incorrect information at their website. At website Deluxe rooms are displayed around swiming pool which we got booked through our travel partner. After reaching at resort they allocated executive rooms stating as deluxe rooms. Conveyed that main part of the property has been sold out to Club Mahindra and the deluxe rooms displayed at website are in the possession of Club Mahindra and if you want to cancel your booking we agree to it or stay in rooms we are allocating to you. These rooms are part of Villa at the first floor as if you are residing in a hostel. These are quite away from the main property. They not only spoiled our holiday mood but soiled our time and money. Though after intervention of our travel partner next day they allocated us ground floor rooms in the villa but in two days of our holiday we were only busy in communication with travel partner and resort people and ***aging our luggage. Had very bad experience and suggest if you are member of Club Mahindra only then you stay otherwise do not trust on Tropicana Resort and its Website.

I wanted to escalate about my stay at Tropicana Alibaug which is a @anandmahindra @clubmahindra property. Please refer to my screenshots to check my experience before you make a booking next time. I checked in yesterday i.e on 17th December for two nights - when I checked in there was no water, no toiletries in the room. I requested for the same but it did come for hours. After this at 6pm I called for menu at the room and no one bothered to bring it to us and my husband the next day walks to the reception to ask for menu and that’s when we have a menu what’sapped to us. We called for ice bucket that came after two hours only after a constant follow up with the room service. We requested someone to help us with connecting our phones to the television and again no one shows up. After being irritated with the service we call again in the morning for technician and the technician comes & he mentions he doesn’t know how to connect and later says the television doesn’t provide screen mirroring options. I don’t expect a big property like this not having a smart television. Definitely a big thumps down. Let me come to the next day of my experience. It starts with ordering tea and water and it doesn’t come for hours. We call again at the reception to check on why our order hasn’t been served and they don’t even know what’s the order. We have booked for the villa and there is an open shower and it too turned out to be a bad experience. There was water clog plus small earthworms floating. After this we decided to go down to villa’s pool and after a minute room service person comes to us and mentions that we cannot use the pool. We asked him why can’t we use and he said that you don’t have the access and there are other guest who have checked in and they want to use the pool. After being furious and calling the ***ager we get a response saying there is pool booking made so therefore we have to leave the pool. Why would you give me a room in villa with 6 guest bookings and then make another booking and give them the access. After me raising my experience to the ***ager and mentioning about my past escalations he says you can use the pool. I burn a whole in my pocket to miss on basic services and I wouldn’t even expect a good experience if the basic is missed and the guest is being harassed. Let me mention about sharing my grievances at the reception and I have been told that “ma’am you should ask for the service”. If that’s what it comes to then let me ask you my refund too or may be you don’t be bothered to ask me for payment and wait till I ask you about my payment. Then may be the property and the ***agement would understand the value of customer service. That’s how I get my toiletries after ***y requests. Sorry I am unable to upload a video of the open shower experience as video upload isn’t supported here.

We booked a room in the villa which was literal heaven it included a full size swimming pool,outdoor shower,gazebo, entertainment room and more they also provided barbeque services in the villa.the pool came with a deck and all.we also tried the spa there and believe me.it was amazing there are a lot of activities inside the resort and the whole resort overall was very clean and calm.the only problem was that the road construction was being done which resulted an uneven road but the resort made up for.overall: Food- 3.5/5 Stay- 5/5 Amenities- 4/5

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Tropicana resort in Alibaug with my family and friends. While I appreciate the timely room allocation, I must express my disappoin**ent with the overall experience. The cleanliness of our rooms left much to be desired. The bathtub was not cleaned thoroughly, and there was an unfortunate incident with a lizard in the room, which, despite multiple requests, wasn't promptly addressed, causing distress to my children. Additionally, our requests for a baby cot, cutlery in the evening, and an extra bed were not fulfilled as expected. I had to wait until 10 pm at the reception to get the extra bed, which was quite inconvenient. The most concerning incident occurred when I witnessed a dead rat in the pool. Although the staff, including someone named Pritam, attempted to handle the situation, the response from an operations head named James was less than satisfactory. The denial of working CCTV cameras near the pool was perplexing. Considering these issues, I feel compelled to share my feedback, not only as a matter of cleanliness but also as a safety concern for guests. I sincerely hope these issues can be addressed to improve the overall experience for future guests.
