Cet auberge de jeunesse est très accueillante, le cadre est sublime (rooftop avec vue sur mer) et très chill. Les espaces communs (ping-pong, café) permet de faire de très belles rencontres. Nous avons passés deux jours extraordinaire et avons hâte de revenir.

The location is really good and the common area is great to hang out. they have a table tennis, a carrom board and lots of card games to spend time with friends. You can also choose to sit in the balconies for hours. We did have a big problem though, we went for some beach activities and came back to know that the power was not there and so no water in the tank as well , hence we could not take a quick shower , this bummed us , they should invest in a power backup !! we had breakfast and played some table tennis and still no power . in the end we just kept waiting in the balcony and finally took shower after waiting two hours.

Excellent atmosphere and vibes! Staff is always with a smile and very happy to work. It’s a shame I had planned to move elsewhere or I would have happily stayed at this property. P.s as a foreigner here you can apply for UPI the only way to pay with your card all across India

It was an amazing stay here at the hostel. It was cool and funky. Had fun with the people around. Overall it was great. It’s very close to the beach and has the great view as well. Excellent rooms and vibe.

Booked a private ac room at this hostel from Hostelworld looking at room pictures of 201 that was posted on Hostelworld by Lost Hostel for 2 nights for ₹5520 but instead got room 203 which has NOTHING other than a small table meant for children. When we asked for room 201 they said it’s booked but 2 days went by & nobody came in room 201. I personally will NEVER recommend this hostel to anyone but if anyone STILL prefers to come here, DON’T book private accommodation rooms in Lost Hostels because they will NOT give you “Superior Twin Room Private Ensuite” because as posted in Hostelworld & in the attached screenshots, it’s showing “only 1 room left” - they have only 1 room only that is room no. 201 whose pictures are posted by these people everywhere. They don’t post pictures of room 203 because that is the worst ac room. The guy & the girl at the reception were too arrogant to admit their mistakes that they are falsifying the information by posting misleading pictures of room 201 on Hostelworld & travelers like us are paying ₹5520 for disgusting smelly room 203, red ants, power cuts & non-existent wifi. Didn’t find any pros except it is right on Varkala cliff. The cons are- 1. Private ac twin room 203 has single tiny table whereas 2 people can stay in this private room but no provision for 2 people like extra table. 2. No cupboard to keep things in room 203 but there is a small cupboard in room 201. 3. No chairs in room 203 but available in 201. 4. More than frequent power cuts & wifi disruption leading to irritation & unfavorable conditions to work from here. 5. We stayed in room 203 - the bathroom door doesn’t close & the bathroom has no exhaust. Room 201 bathroom has a window & exhaust. 6. The room is so damp & smelly. 7. The ac doesn’t work, even after putting it on turbo. 8. The bed & the room is full of red ants & got bitten multiple times. 9. When we arrived in room 203, the floor was unclean, the bedsheets are stained. 10. Unnecessarily over priced. 11. Didn’t provide blankets. Gave 2 bedsheets as a replacement for blankets. 12. Forced to keep all our things on the floor leading to red ants & insects getting inside our clothes & luggage.
