Booked a room under Standard for 4 nights and then moved to 3 nights later. I also upgraded the room and made full payment. However my refund after multiple follow ups is still pending for the night I did not stay. The response is we are busy with other guests and cant pay attention to this. It sounds like once you leave, you are not our problem. I was asked to share booking details, now I am being asked to share payment references for a payment made in Nov. It's a terrible experience and loss of trust in the property to not receive the money after all these months and the slacking from ITH.

Пресное место. Дом где семья принимает гостей и все оборудовано для туриста и путника. Есть 2 общие комнаты на 6 и 4 человека, женская комната и отдельные варианты проживания. Вип домик прекрасный вариант для 2их. Рекомендую. Тут можно готовить самим, но веганскую еду (яйца, мясо и пр не разрешат). Также готовят и хозяева, до ценник ресторана (от 200 рупей).

I ,with two of my friends, visited Varanasi an year ago, and one of the best parts of the visit was the stay in ITH. Dada, the manager deserves a special appreciation. Dormitories were neat, cosy and affordable. It would have been great if the location was closer to the ghats. The living room had a common television and we could access a few books, maps etc.

I had a wonderful stay here as a solo traveler in Varanasi. I stayed in a private room which was well air conditioned and spacious. Bikash and his team were incredibly hospitable and the food cooked by the chef was delicious. The location was good- a 15 minute Uber to the main sights of varanasi, that I saw with a guide recommended by the hostel. The hostel is quiet, a calm sanctuary away from hustle of the main centre.

Besides the beautiful structure with a jungle-like garden, the difference is made by manager Bikash Singh. He will be extremely kind and professional with you and will quietly share (if you want) his culture and experience of Varanasi. In short, he will make you feel at home. All people who come to Varanasi should pass through here to understand Varanasi and India. Unforgettable. Thank you Bikash

HHI situated in heart of Varanasi. Imposing building. Graceful reception/ lobby. However, rooms upkeep is missing. Mobile charging points are ineffective. Centralized AC doesn't have room control. V were in room 111 which was Arctic cold. To avoid cold switching-off only remedy. Food good. Restaurant team hospitable-couteous. Touched by the services of server Siraj. He is attentive, sincere, hardworking. He served himself anything required on the table. The true spirit behind was selfless services. Impressed by his attitude 👏. Rohit Panday, Asst F&B including hostess Jayanti Jha were enthusiastic attending the hotel guests. Good experience.
