博恰洛飯店(Hotel Bocciolo)

Hotel in buona posizione per visitare Orta San Giulio, anche a piedi. Consiglio il trattamento Camera e Colazione. Ben accetti anche gli animali, con supplemento .La cena ( che abbiamo provato solo una volta in hotel alla carta) non ci ha soddisfatti appieno, nonostante le innumerevoli recensioni positive su TripAdvisor e i consigli del punto informativo, considerando rapporto prezzo/qualità e in considerazione della vasta offerta di locali presenti a Orta San Giulio. Colazione internazionale, abbondante e comprendente anche prodotti del territorio, dolci e salati. Presente anche piccolo angolo di prodotti confezionati gluten free .Ottime le dimensioni della camera da letto superior con balcone vista lago, anche se per la privacy suggerisco di provvedere a isolare maggiormente ogni terrazza da sguardi indiscreti anche se sicuramente non intenzionali dei vicini di stanza... I vasi che separano gli ambienti terrazzo sono a mio parere del tutto insufficienti. Ambienti puliti e ampi. Camere silenziose e dotate di frigo ( senza bar...solo una bottiglietta di acqua naturale) e cassaforte. Prodotti da bagno presenti e phon. Nel complesso una esperienza positiva.

Hotel in posizione stupenda . Abbiamo una camera con balconcino vista lago abbastanza ampia con qualche piccola pecca..tende non pulitissime e lenzuola alla tedesca che su un letto matrimoniale a mio parere non vanno bene . Colazione con troppa presenza di salato. La parte dolce un po scarsa come scelta...capisco il turista straniero ma .....

Perfetto locale, tranquillo e rilassante. Comodo per occasioni come Pasqua e Natale, per godersi la compagnia dei propri cari e il buon cibo senza preoccupazioni di alcun tipo. Ottima cucina e buonissimi prezzi. Ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo anche con il personale, sempre gentile e disponibile.

Struttura molto bella, ben tenuta, in ottima posizione, camere pulite, spaziose, moderne, ristorante ottimo. Peccato solo che la ricarica per l'auto elettrica, che rappresenta una gran comodità e un valore aggiunto, costi uno sproposito e non sia quindi utilizzabile.

Hotel Bocciolo surpassed our expectations in every way. The front desk staff and restaurant waitresses staff were friendly and fluent in English and German, as well as their native Italian. The kind manager even offered us a ride to the train station in his private car! The hotel common area’s and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. and the view of the lake was as if from a painting. We never got a chance to try the hot tubs, but it looked like it would be wonderful to sit there while gazing at the lake and mountains. We had been traveling for a month in Italy and this hotel’s breakfast buffet was the best and most extensive of any we have encountered. Not only every savory item but also sweet desserts and pastries beyond compare. How often do you come on delicious apple strudel for breakfast?! We also had dinner there three of the four nights of our stay because the food was so good. The location was close to the train station but a bit further from the town center than we had expected, but we easily walked there in about a half hour stroll along a pleasant lakeside path in about 25 minutes. We were told there was a “tourist train” that could have taken us there, but we never asked where to get it. During our visit we enjoyed visiting the historic pilgrimage site with its many small chapels nearby, taking ferries to Isola San Giulio and to other towns on the lake, and just wandering quiet, non-touristy Orta. We would love to return to Orta someday, and Hotel Bocciolo is definitely where we would stay!

Positive: Large rooms Comfortable beds, Lovely lake views (at xtra cost) Clean, functional lift Negatives: NO DISCLOSURE re extra E10 each duvet and kettle, E10 for use of garage displayed at reception area, When I queried why Not disclosed initially, was told should have used air con, no other hotel on the holiday of 3 weeks has charged for use of extra blankets or kettle, requested to discuss with manager, was advised manager /owner does not have discussions re pricing 1 meal at restaurant, very small portion, so much cheese, unable to locate the beef in the ragu, unpalatable overpriced in comparison, deserts leftover cakes from breakfast menu , chose to eat externally for the next 3 nights, better price and better food and service. disappointing end to a fantastic holiday Lesson learned, ASK

The hotel does have a lovely location, but our lake view room with balcony left a lot to be desired. Too many small things wrong : Stark walls with no pictures Wardrobe rail so high that at 5ft 6 Ins I could barely stretch to hang clothes up Toilet really low, so difficult if you had any mobility issues No glasses in room, just 2 paper cups ( never replaced) Dead fir trees on balcony Wedding on saturday night so could not eat in dining room or on terrace and impossible to park on return from day out Food really quite poor

Wir haben eine Nacht in diesem Hotel gebucht. Zimmer mit See Sicht und Terrasse. Schoner Ausblick auf den See. Zimmer ok, Klenex und Hygienesäcklein fehlen zum Bespiel. Wir haben das Nachtessen für Montagabend reserviert, an der Rezeption haben sie uns dann mitgeteilt, dass das Restaurant geschlossen ist!. Das alles für 182.00... pro Nacht. Für uns sicher nicht mehr.

Abbiamo soggiornato due giorni all'Hotel Bocciolo, affacciato sul Lago d'Orta. Complesso nuovo, molto bello e rilassante. Personale disponibile e preparato. Camere ampie e pulite. L'Hotel dispone di tutti i confort necessari. Encomio al ristorante, eccellente e al magnifico orto curato dal capo famiglia. Prima di ripartire acquistate miele e marmellate fatte da loro. Colazioni non plus ultra. Merita un viaggio.
