Very helpful receptionist. Restaurant needs more waiters, but overall they are very friendly. En-suite needs to be maintained and the best way to do it, is to check each and every room if everything is still in a working condition. For what we have paid, we are very pleased.

Musty smell, thick mildew on window ledges in bedroom.........Extremely unpleasant irreverence on and off, specially on the bus tours.....and photo ops too often only driven by. That is to say that the bus mostly stopped again and again for botanical instruction but rather rarely for truly photogenic opportunities, even with flowers. The question being then: What do we get for putting up with the bad? The answer: Magnificent scenery, terrific "Afrikaans" cuisine, music and songs, extensive regional knowledge of all sorts delivered with, I'd say, a lot of "passion". However, the bottom line is, Is it worth suffering health problems for? For us, No.

We had a booking for over a weekend 13/14 June 2025. I have asked for disability friendly room. Was informed Honeymoon suite will suffice. There are 3 stairs to the bathroom. There were no 2 point plugs in the room, there were only 2 milk milk containers, water jug was empty. Inside the bathroom the toilet roll container was hanging loose with toilet lid broken. But it was clean, and restaurant staff and food was perfect

Clean rooms fantastic service when checked in but i must give the restaurant a 10 out 10 fast fantastic service

The service was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room locked out on to the street and the traffic can be noisy and the bathroom was very small. The food was very good . Good value for money.
