Abbiamo passato una bella vacanza grazie ai consigli e alla gentilezza di Paola e Fabio. Abbiamo alloggiato nell'attico, che ospita fino a 4 persone, molto carino e pulito, in tipico stile montano e dotato di ogni comfort, microonde, bollitore, stoviglie, piccolo frigo. La colazione super, sia salata che dolce, con ottime torte e biscotti fatti in casa. Anche mia figlia Ester è rimasta colpita dalla bontà delle torte e del gelato, dagli orecchini di Paola 😀, e dalla cura e amore che i proprietari mettono nel loro lavoro. Ottima la posizione per le escursioni. Consigliatissimo!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&b per 5 notti e siamo stati talmente bene che ne abbiamo aggiunta un'altra. Paola e Fabio, sono stati stupendi, super gentili e disponibili. Paola ci dava ottimi consigli sulle escursioni da fare e sui ristoranti da frequentare, mentre Fabio preparava le sue fantastiche torte. Ciliegina sulla torta....Fabio fa dei gelati speciali, al rientro da ogni escursione era mio desiderio "obbligo" mangiarne uno con gusti sempre diversi e originali. Le nostre camere, accoglienti e molto pulite disponevano di una bellissima terrazza. Spero di rivedervi presto. Noi non dimentichiamo chi ci ha trattato bene.

Consiglio la struttura: camere molto pulite, accoglienza da parte dei titolari ottima e colazione deliziosa con tutti prodotti fatti in casa freschi e locali. La struttura ha una posizione strategica, vicina agli impianti sciistici. Da provare!

What a fabulous week. Fabio and Paola are wonderful hosts and hugely knowledgeable. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff especially Manuela and Angela. Breakfast has a welcome choice and the gelato and strawberry sorbet are amazing. Lovely fireplace and wooden structure makes for a very homely and cozy holiday. Restaurants are close by as is the free ski bus. All amenities are within a short walk. Highly recommended.

We stayed at L'Ancien Paquier chambres d'hotes for a short break just before Christmas and had an absolutely fantastic time. We has some challenges with our outward journey and Fabio and Paola were so accommodating - they really are the most hospitable hosts who cannot do enough for you. We definitely wouldn't have received the same service and experience with bigger hotels. The suite we stayed in was perfect for us and our two small children. It was spacious, immaculately clean, and my partner and I even managed to enjoy to the sauna after some time on the slopes. Parking in the underground garage is also really handy (particularly with little children and lots of ski equipment to carry). Last but not least, the breakfast each morning was delightful, with so many homemade treats to enjoy. I'd highly recommend staying here for a comfortable stay, warm Italian welcome, and some expert advice on how to enjoy the local area. We will be back for sure.

This is the first performance camp we have been on and it lived up to expectations. Simon from Rebel Alliance who is Level 5 BASI found terrain to suit the weather and level of the group. Our group was mixed in age range from my son at 17 up to guys 50 +. The relaxed environment and small group (in our case 6 people) meant that everybody would receive analysis and feedback with video footage. We stayed in La Ancien Paquier, located in the center of the historic village of Valtournenche with excellent hosts Paula and Fabio. The accommodation is B&B, spotless, well located and the hosts would bring our various snacks over drinks after a day on the snow. Evening meals are a relaxed affair in the village which has ample traditional restaurants at competitive process. Riding everyday we covered in excess of 140km in 5 days across both piste and powder, all well planned and manged by Simon. We rode areas that without a guide we may not have found and the highlight was the 46km day trip from Valtournenche, and back. If you want to improve your riding in a relaxed environment with great guides and hosts then this is for you!!
