城堡莊園(Le Clos des Châteaux)

Fabuleux, dépaysant, idéal pour les amoureux du calme absolu, la sensation d'une autre dimension du temps, une très belle expérience ... L'hôte est très gentil, souriant, disponible et à l'écoute. Le logement dispose d'un bon confort, d'un décor raffiné, une très belle salle d'eau ...

Au milieu des champs, au calme, vous trouverez un magnifique clos restauré avec beaucoup de goût et vous serez accueilli par un hôte aimable. Mise à disposition d une salle de jeu, d une cuisine. Petit déjeuner de qualité

A ‘Magical Gem’ set in beautiful, peaceful and tranquil countryside, but only a few minutes from the local village. Jean-Philippe ‘JP’ the wonderful and charming owner has created something truly special at ‘Le Clos des Chateaux’ with his creativity, style and eye for detail. The charming little ‘Gite’ I stayed in was beautifully restored and immaculately clean with everything I needed for my 6 night visit and it made the perfect base for my daily trips out on my bike to explore the area. My soul was singing once more when I came to leave - ‘ Merci beaucoup JP ‘.

We stayed 3 nights at "Le Clos du Chateau" with our kids. Its location is great to explore Cheverny; Chambord or the Beauval zoo. It is a little hard to find with GPS and the owner was great help to point us in the right direction. We had a two-bedroom suite for our two boys and us, sharing a shower room. The room opens onto a lovely living room (for guests only) with the dining room where you take your breakfast. The owner recently opened the place and is really friendly. Only area for improvement is cleaning of the room or changing towels which only happens upon request.

The host has lovingly prepared all the rooms which retain clean lines and simplicity while also being filled with humour and artifacts from around the world. The courtyard setting is perfect for eating/drinking as well as being a safe place for young children to explore - there is even a rabbit to visit in an enclosure. On the other side of the building the minature donkeys/sheep/goats and friendly dogs are all interesting (especially for children) but are easily avoided if not your thing. JP is an excellent host - attentive, thoughtful and funny without being intrusive. His breakfasts include homebaking using the eggs for the chickens. The location is great for exploring the Loire - close to joining the waymarked cycling routes as well as a network for traffic-free farm tracks. Helpfully, especially with young children, there is a shared kitchenette with essentials available which was great for fixing a quick tea or getting ready to go for the day.
