bed was very untidy. pet hair was present every where. Breakfast is not worth mentioning. There was no bedding available. It was very poorly managed. It is in a very beautiful water front. If you don't mind sleeping in an unkempt bed and over priced bed, it i good to enjoy bird sound in the morning

We had our wedding here and it was such a perfect day - Christine and Natalie were fabulous wedding planners, so good at replying to all my questions and emails in the months leading up to our big day, kept us fully updated on everything made sure we were happy with everything, and on the day really helped with all the set up in the morning which was such a weight off not having to organise that! Reception drinks were lovely the food we had was absolutely amazing everyone was very impressed with their meals and the evening buffet was so much more than expected and would have easily been enough for all the guests if we hadn’t had the wedding breakfast as well! We would highly recommend The Watersedge and am so glad we chose this venue for our special day

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Brunel University. Very convenient (20 minute walk and even shorter bus ride) to West Drayton train station for jaunts into Central London. Same bus option in opposite direction to get to Brunel (30 minute walk). Tesco and Aldi located close by should the in-room yogurt and bread croissant not cut it (good thing for the fridge in the room). Stayed in Grand Canal view room #2 which had 1 queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Unfortunately there was no hot water in the sink, but lots in the shower. I mentioned this to the staff via email and in person - no response via email and a stunned "sorry can't help you" response from the in-person complaint. The room could also do with more options for hanging clothes as there are only 2 fixed hangers in the room. The adjacent room (#1) was not occupied the 1st 2 nights so it was very quiet, but the 3rd night (next morning really) is when we noticed the extremely thin walls where normal conversation levels could be heard. We managed to enjoy a meal in the onsite restaurant and it was very good (generous house salad and very good fish and chips).

An excellent stay in one of the pods alongside the canal. Friendly staff on arrival, a quiet, spotless and very comfortable room with breakfast options laid out for me as I was leaving early. I stayed here as an alternative to the large, noisy airport hotels as I was flying from Heathrow the following day and I'll definitely be using Watersedge again - such a nicer alternative and really convenient.

We found the pod a beautiful experience. It had everything, walk-in shower, fridge, central heating ( which we found far too hot for us), but it didn’t spoil our stay, breakfast laid out on a tray ready for the morning. Lovely outlook onto the canal moorings with all the boats. We were prewarned about the evening noise from the event held at the pub, but to be honest, it was NOT as loud as we thought it might have been. We can definitely recommend this as a very nice place to stay. Also the staff were really helpful, both in where to go for an evening walk and also finding the remote control for the tv, which had slid behind the fridge. If we should be in the area again this place will be our first option.

Would like to give a bigger rate but have to say food and location spot on, this was planned as a wedding anniversary trip but was ruined by having no hot water in the room. Having worked in the hospitality trade for over 40 years must admit found this very annoying as would never offer any guest a room with no hot water.

We stayed for one night in a double room, on booking we were told they could cater for our dietary requirements, however when we arrived this had not been provided and we were told all the could say was sorry, so no breakfast. The bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied and was full of hair, tissues and sanitary products, again an apology, finally when we went to bed I saw that there were fleas in the bed, if we had somewhere else to gowe would have, however after a sleepless night and being bitten over a dozen times we made our exit early morning never to return. We contacted the hotel about our complaint and the gave us a full refund. I wish we had been warned, we would never have booked.

We stayed here as we were leaving Heathrow Airport early next morning and it’s only 15 minutes away. We booked the glam pod which was ideal for our short stay. The place is in a really nice location right on the waterside. We were booked in by their efficiently, professionally, politely and friendly staff. We booked a table in their restaurant and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We have definitely found our new place to stay if we’re doing anything in the area 8n the future.

Me my cousin and our 2 young children stayed here after a long day at legoland the food was delicious staff were friendly and accommodating the room was spacious and comfortable would definitely stay again
