薩萊託加金沙水療度假村

We stayed in room 108 for two nights which is the honeymoon room at the very end of the beach. The location of the room was nice and private and the room was spacious. Only dvd player in room and no Bluetooth speaker or WiFi. Also 3-4g phone coverage is average. Not much service from reception staff, but the owner gav tries his best. Car rental available from hotel and they can also assist with issuing temporary drivers license. The resort is relatively far away but if you don’t plan on traveling then it’s perfect or traveling nearby. Do recommend taking some snacks and drinks as no shops nearby and the little supermarket is very pricey there is a dance and fire show with buffet every Wednesday which costs but was good and worth the money. We would go back as there are not many other options on the island but would make a few small changes

I was called names by the staff in Samoan, not knowing that my husband is Samoan. When bringing it up with the manager, she didn’t even apologise for the incident. We then went to the restaurant for bbq, and the waitress poured water all over my 1 year old, and her iPad. No apology was given, and we received a towel on 30 minutes later. Would never stay again.

Average I booked this resort as it had a high ranking but I didn’t think it deserves that ranking. Our tv and dvd player didn’t work, our shower was constantly cold. Batteries for remotes needed replacing. I was at reception constantly complaining. Also they decided to water blast the roof of our villa. I asked if they could come another day as I wasn’t impressed with the amount I paid to be disrupted by constant noise. They complied but did the villa next door. The staff have little knowledge on things like daily food specials or info on tours. Poor communication and average service from staff. Average resort for the price paid

Locatie perfect super mooi, ontbijt zeer simpel en een lage kwaliteit vooral de vrouwelijke medewerkers waren geenszins vriendelijk. De mannelijke medewerkers daarin tegen wel vriendelijk. Als iets op was bij het ontbijt zeiden ja op op nee kan niet. Worstjes waren koud.

Sadly, it just didnt do it for me, having stayed at the La Lagato & Taumeasina resorts first. The bar was set high. On arrival, La Lagato & Taumensina both welcomed us with complimentary drinks & iced towels. Taumensina even presented us w/fresh floral lei's. Saletonga? Nothing. We weren't even acknowledged waiting at the front counter to check-in for a good minute or two. Once checked in we were told a porter would come and help us with our luggage. 5mins of waiting by our car awkwardly, we ending up skull dragging our suitcases across the thick gravel carpark, causing damage. Once across the long stretch of gravel, we loaded our bags onto a flat bed trolley left on the path. Only then did one of the receptionists come out, unloaded the trolley, and walk us to our room. The 2bdrm suite was spacious. The 2nd bdrm being 2x walls in the corner of the room that didnt meet the ceiling, so there was noise pollution between the rooms at night. Beds were very comfortable & I loved the private outdoor shower, esp at night under the stars. The room had aircon (nowhere else on the resort did) but was stuck on 26°C. The receptionist said she'd get maintenance out to fix it. They never came. Theres SO MANY sandflies and mozzies in comparison to the other resorts. The Fia Fia & Buffet night was fun BUT Ive had gastro for 4days since. Happy hour saves only $2 on 2x set already expensive drinks. Dinner will cost you around $500 for 4ppl. $340 for the buffet. Is Sal worth the price? Not IMO.

Orörda stränder, fantastiskt hav! Fantastiskt läge med helt orörda stränder. Att kunna vandra längst stranden utan att se ett enda hus, hotell eller ens andra människor är fantastiskt! Inte ens någon annans fotspår än de egna. Personalen är mycket vänlig och försöker, men servicen lämnar lite övrigt att önska. Resorten är inte så stor och rummen består uteslutande av enskilda små hus. Det känns aldrig trång. Särskilt på stranden är det allt annat än trängsel. Revet når ända in till stranden, så det är lätt att snorkla direkt från hotellets strand. Även om snorklingen från stranden inte är världens bästa är det otroligt lättillgängligt.
