Bullshark ist ein kleines, aber wunderschönes Hotel. Es hat alles was man braucht. Schlicht und einfach eingerichtet, aber es braucht nicht mehr ind dieser wunderschönen Natur. Es gibt zwei Bungalows und ein paar Zimmer, alles Privat. Der Preis ist sehr sehr günstig und sie sind uns sogar noch entgegen gekommen, weil wir mehr als eine Nacht da waren. Das Hotel wird sehr liebevoll von einer Familie betrieben. Sie geben Tipps für gute Restaurants und auch für Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, die sich sehr ausbezahlt haben! Vom Hotel werden auch Roller günstig vermietet. Das Morgenessen ist exklusiv, eine kleine Auswahl. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet gut. Wir waren völlig begeistert und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

I arrived in the evening at the Bullshark Hostel simply to inquire and ended up getting a nice, clean room for a very reasonable price. Not only that, but a conversation with another guest convinced me to take a last-minute hike up Conception Volcano. Within minutes, I was talking to a guide the manager had arranged. It all worked out great. Although the family does not intrude, this place is an authentic Nicaraguan home with the hostel facilities adjacent. To me, this adds to the charm. It is peaceful and there are ample outside areas to relax or work. As noted above, the manager is very efficient and seems attuned to the needs of guests. For instance, she was quick to offer wi-fi passwords, coffee, and a phone charger when I needed one. She rents cycles or 4-wheelers and can assist with tours or activities. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Hospedaje Bullshark.

The location for going to Maderas was perfect. The view from their patio terrace was beautiful and The price was very low, and OVERALL it was visibly very clean HOWEVER the sheets in room 1 on Sunday 12/24 had period blood stains. They had been washed but clearly stained in the middle of the sheet so unavoidable. That may not be a deal breaker for others… but for me, I wasn’t expecting bells and whistles for $20/night but blood stained sheets makes me question a lot of other things.
