桑黛度假村

Due to the rising water levels our chosen hotel was under water so we booked Sandai. The location is good and the grounds were lovely. The rooms were ok, fairly big and the bed was comfortable and clean. We had a bulb out in our bathroom which we reported but it wasn't replaced but they did give us a very good battery lamp to use! The staff were lovely and trying their best. Food was ok. It was very odd that we were given fixed meals twice and it was only after we saw another party having different meals we asked about a menu which we were then given. Why we weren't given this to start with is beyond me. It is a very handy place for birding as you can get an early breakfast. It is very close to the airfield and Baringo cliffs - good birding spots. The swimming pool looked good and well maintained but we didn't use it. We stayed two nights and would stay here again. It seems to be the best alternative now the others are flooded out. I hope they get many more visitors. Those staff deserve it.

We had a very good stay at Sandai resort. The staff was attentive and very friendly, especially Vincent, who did everything possible to ensure we had a good time. The rooms, although basic, were clean and confortable, with airco, which is a big advantage . Abundant breakfast,very good dinner and snacks available throughout the day. The garden is a paradise for birdwatchers, and the pool is great. We definitely recommend!
