"We were a family of 6 traveling to Italy for the first time. It was our first time booking an Agriturosmo, and we were a bit skeptical. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and his son, from the moment we walked on, we were treated like family. The property was stunning, and the rooms were very comfortable. Ilaria and Paolo were the kindest people and we enjoyed spending time with them at dinner and on our horseback ride! We had breakfast every morning which was delicious and they even catered to our gluten free family member. We had dinner there twice and it was delicious! We were sad when we had to leave! Cannot recommend enough!!!"

"I think I may be the greatest fan of this beautiful place. I have stayed here four times in the last several years. When there are so many other options, that tells you how exceptional it is. This time I went with 18 family members. One of the unusual qualities is that it can house so many comfortably. A perfect place for any large destination event. Many of my family had never visited this part of Italy. They were all impressed with the beauty, comfort, quiet and convenience of Borgo il Poeta. And the beds are fabulous!! Not only is it the most elegantly designed and decorated residence but so many of the gorgeous hilltop villages that one wants to visit are within an hour by car and we explored most of them. I suppose, in the end, one of the most important elements that made our visit so remarkable was the “Mayor” or manager of this property, Gabriele Conrado. He became our muse long before we even arrived by helping us facilitate so many things that made our trip easier. I know our visit would not have been so magical without him. He made all of our Italian dreams possible, including my beloved cousin getting to see the Pope. We are thinking about adopting him and his lovely Sophia. It was difficult to leave him behind. The good news is that he will be there for any of you who make the choice of visiting this graceful and memorable place. Francesca"
