Nous avons passé 7 jours merveilleux dans cet haveli dont nous avions lu les commentaires élogieux. Nous avons pu constater qu'ils sont conformes à la réalité. Le Kaladwas Lal Haveli est très bien situé dans Old City. Vous pouvez visiter à pied toutes les principales attractions de la ville : City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Musée Bagore Ki Haveli, Ambrai Ghat, etc... L'hôtel est intimiste (7 chambres toutes différentes), restauré récemment avec goût et souci du détail. La vue depuis le restaurant en Roof Top est magique (la Clock Tower est à quelques dizaines de mètres et ke temple Jagdish à 200 m). Le personnel mérite également des éloges et contribue à la qualité des prestations. La cuisine est excellente et bien plus originale et goûteuse que celle de la plupart des restaurants du secteur. Nous n'avons pas trouvé que l'environnement urbain était un point négatif. Tous les centres ville et les Old city d'Inde sont identiques : bruits de klaxons, de scooters et tuk-tuk en journée mais c'est très calme la nuit. En général, les clients passent rarement leurs journées à l'hotel mais plutôt en visites ! Nous n'avons jamais eu besoin des bouchons d'oreilles fournis... Bref, super séjour à Udaipur. Il est certain que si nous revenons un jour à Udaipur, c'est là que nous séjourneront.

I stayed at kaladwas lal haveli for 3 nights in October and the experience was just beyond amazing. The haveli itself is so beautifully preserved, and feels very luxurious. It’s in the busy part of the city but as soon as you walk in it feels so peaceful. So much attention to detail has been paid to the rooms, and the rooftop terrace/restaurant has such a good breakfast (included) and was probably our most luxurious despite staying in a 5 star hotel later. One of the staff Narendra is what made this hotel stand out for me. He is so kind and willing to accommodate any request. There was one time we were craving gulab jaamun and he even took us to the best mithai shop in town. He made the place feel like home! 10/10 I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Kaladwas Lal Haveli is beautifully restored and full of character. Every corner of the 300-year-old haveli reflects heritage and history, yet it feels comfortable and welcoming. Its location in the old city made exploring Udaipur so easy — from temples to ghats to bustling markets, everything was just a short walk away. The hospitality was warm, the food authentic, and the overall experience truly royal. A perfect stay for families and culture seekers alike. Do note that since the property is located inside the old city, cars cannot be taken straight to the hotel and parking can be a challenge. However, the heritage charm and the experience more than make up for this small inconvenience.

A beautifully restored haveli. Friendly staff who greeted us with a chilled refreshing nimboo pani. Located in the old city and in the heart of the shopping area (do barter as can get up to 50% off the asking price). Taxi's are not permitted in the old city so our driver dropped us off outside the city walls and then we had to get a tuk tuk. The Haveli was not very easy to find - it would be helpful if the Haveli could sent a tuktuk. Within walking distance of Jagdish temple and the City Palace. Not suitable for those with mobility problems as the stairs are steep and there is no lift. Despite this, I would definitely stop here again.

absolutely loved our stay here. The staff went the extra mile to make us feel special- even writing us a letter and bringing dessert to wish us well on our honeymoon. The location was perfect and meant we could walk to every site we wanted to see. The room was so spacious and clean. The dinner at the hotel was one of the best we've had on our trip. We are so glad we stayed here!

A history-filled stay and comfort within! Kaladwas Lal Haveli: The moment we entered, we felt that there was a difference of centuries. The architecture is mind-blowing, and the way they have restored this 300-year-old haveli is quite something! Each room is differently themed; we stayed in Pratikriti, which just connected us to our inner soul. The mix of old charm and modern amenities makes it one of the top boutique hotels in Udaipur.
