Enjoy the Tyson’s Corner area witch’s stay at the Double Tree. The silver line makes the trip from the airport easy, so you don’t have to worry about an expensive Uber. The staff is great; but be sure to ask for your room to be cleaned and any water bottles you may need. Aside from that, it’s a good place to stay whether your visiting DC or northern Virginia. I would also suggest going across the street to the mall. It’s been upgraded with a very large selection of great food.
The staff were excellent. Did not feel like I was in a 4 star hotel. No bath robes or newspaper as listed in amenities. Did not like the pressure of having to join Hilton rewards in order to get free wifi. Even 3 star hotels offer free wifi. Shuttle service within 1 mile radius listed on website. Only available to Hilton rewards. Maybe the definition of a 4 star is different in Northern VA

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the room was shabby for the price and the additional fees (parking,breakfast, internet and phone calls) were ludicrous. I stay in this area often for business & personal trips and have experienced far better value at Embassy and other properties.

The property is conveniently within walking distance to metro from Dulles Airport. There are plants of food options within walking distance. Staff are always available to assist and greet you with a smile. Rooms and front lobby are nice and looks like they were recently refreshed.

Not real pleased and probably would not stay there again. The housekeeping staff - twice - knocked on my door at 2 and again 8:30 on the day I was due to check out....asking me when I was going to check out. ?? I've never had this happen before. I have until check out time to get out of the room correct?? If so, then why would I be asked not once but twice when I was leaving?? The housekeeping staff should be checking with the front desk to see if I have checked out instead of bothering me - twice! It made me feel like you all couldn't get me out of there fast enough. Not good business. I stay in a lot of hotels and like I said this has never happened to me before. I will not stay in this hotel again.
Plus the thermostat in the room kept changing from cool to heat! on it's own. very annoying.
Tub facet kept dripping. Had to put a facecloth under it to keep it quiet.
Not a happy customer for the amount of money I paid for 3 nights.
