There is also a coffee pot, coffee press and waffle maker for those slow moving Sunday mornings!The downstairs "Dream Catcher" room has a queen bed and a large closet to hang clothes. In all the closets you will find extra floor fans. Our cabin, much like other cabins of the 1950s era, does not have central air conditioning and it does get hot. During the summer months, place the fans on the window ledges right when the sun starts to go down and the room will be nice and cool! this is the coolest room in the house! Both in temperature and in vibes!Upstairs you will find the "Cubs Den" furnished with 2 full beds and a 60" TV with ROKU! Turn on the twinkle lights and this makes the perfect theater room for the little ones!Across the hall is another bedroom with a queen bed, rocking chair and pack-n- play in the closet! This room also has a portable AC unit. Please attach the vent to the screen and plug it in, prior to turning on the power button. Turn it on upon arrival and the upstairs will stay a lot cooler.On the deck there is a large patio table and swing chair with umbrella for shade! A charcoal BBQ and cantina lights make this the perfect place for relaxing after a long day at the lake!My Coz Getaway Cottage is located just a quick (hilly) 1/4 mile walk to restaurants, mini-golf, community pool, Eproson park (Music in Park) and all that downtown Twain Harte has to offer. If you seek a little more adventure, Pinecrest lake & Dodge Ridge Ski Resort are a 25 minute drive. Black Oak Casino, Sonora and Columbia are also just a short drive away. With new appliances + decor, we envisioned keeping this old home’s original rustic charm with an added modern flair. PARKING + DRIVEWAY:*On site parking for up to 3 vehicles.*Our driveway slope is accessible for vehicles during the winter months with snow/ice.*There is one security camera facing the driveway for your safety.ACCESSIBILITY:*Our space includes STAIRS to reach the front door entrance + third bedroom.HEATING/AIR CONDITIONING:*We do not have central heating/air BUT we do have ductless AC/heating mini splits in every bedroom for your comfort.*Our fireplace is electric, providing some heat for the living room area. We also provide a portable heater in the living room space. Katmandu is an Original 1930 Twain Harte cabin which has been lovingly restored in cabin decor with modern upgrades. Knotty Pine interior with soaring ceilings, 4 bedrooms, one with a new king size bed, one with queen size bed, (both of these are bedrooms are downstairs) the other 2 have full size beds and are upstairs, all have new comfy mattresses. (The two bedrooms upstairs have steep stairs going to them as shown in the photo's) 2 bathrooms, 1 w/ tub and shower, the other has a walk-in shower, both are recently remodeled. A rock fireplace with a wood burning stove, ceiling fan, cable T.V., wireless high speed internet, cd player, forced air heater, air conditioner for the warmer summer months. Kitchen has a newer gas range, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker. Fully equipped kitchen with every accessory you will need. Front load Washer & Dryer. Large wrap around deck with gas BBQ, table and chairs. Enjoy beautiful, private, Twain Harte Lake. Lake opens Memorial Week-end and closes after Labor Day. Nice beach, snack shack, playground, life-guard.
