Los pros: El lugar es muy bonito y seguro, los bungalós están a un paso de la playa. Los cons: el café y el té de las habitaciones cuestan $90 cada uno (por lo general son productos de cortesía en los hoteles), nos quisieron cobrar un consumo de un desayuno que nunca hicimos y que alguien cargó a nuestra habitación. En resumen: es un buen lugar para hospedarse si se busca la desconexión, la tranquilidad, y pasar un rato agradable en la playa… pero al haber sargazo, no se disfruta al 100% porque la playa está cerrada. Hay que buscar otras alternativas de paseo como cenotes y lagunas que están muy cerca. Todo está exageradamente caro en el hotel, pero hay tiendas de conveniencia y restaurantes más accesibles alrededor.

Casa gitano is beautiful! It feels very secluded, cosy, jungle vibe and the staff are all lovely. We had a slight problem with our room on check in, but Era was so helpful in sorting us a new, better room and made it special for me with a birthday chocolate treat. It felt super personal and we loved the space. We would return. Only points of improvement are WiFi / general connection across the hotel and maybe some mosquito spray or net in the rooms may be helpful, and ideally some free bottled water or coffee as per standard in other hotels Thank you again

Excelente lugar, todos muy amables y en general una experiencia maravillosa, la comida en el restaurante muy rica, las habitaciones cómodas y limpias, desde el front desk todos son muy cálidos y te hacen sentir como en casa, sin dudarlo regresaré

Pure perfection Casa GITANO is the perfect getaway place for couples. Especially Monday thru Thursday. Very quiet and relaxing. The service was extra friendly and courteous and we always had everything we needed. Our room was just pure perfection- our bed was facing the sea with a small pool on the porch. Waking up with White gauzy curtains blowing in the breeze every morning was quite beautiful. The shower was inside but had an outdoorsy feel with great smelling soap and hair products. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone. Also very short walk to nice restaurants and shopping! Great stay!!

They advertise to be luxus hotel. Didnt see luxus on our room. You enter to a bathroom and the bungaloxs are cheaply made. Dirty floors and walls and curtains, Hard sofa to sit on and minibar, thats it. No tv either so bring your laptop or book or the nights are long. Only four options on brekkie and still something was always unavailable. Same on dinner. No bikes for guests and you couldnt enjoy as a hotel guest the beach club unless you pay an crazy entrancefee. There were only four sunneds for guests and on three days no one cleaned the trashes there and no one came to ask drinks, so weird. They miss a big opportunity for sales… Next hotel Nomande cleaned the beach all the time but not here. Beach was full of plastic straws, bottle hats etc. So sad. Beach is beautiful but its beautiful anywhere in area so choose wisely.
