Xela stands out as one of the few remaining quiet spots in South Tulum. The lush greenery adds to the sense of peace; what's more, the venue is committed to minimizing environmental impact. The staff will go above and beyond to cater to your preferences, quickly attend to any inconveniences and all in all, make you feel like you are a truly valued guest. The hotel's kitchen menu is unpretentious but notable for its consistent quality; I say that having checked out plenty of Michelin stars in the neighborhood. Looking forward to return!

Words cannot describe the experience we had at Xela. My husband and I are hospitality enthusiasts — I love hotels and he loves restaurants. We’ve been to amazing places around the world but our trip to Xela was truly memorable. The property itself is gorgeous — with only 12 rooms, it feels cozy and exclusive like you’re staying at an estate. The food was also lovely, we had mezcal margaritas and ceviches everyday. But it’s really the team, people and service that takes it over the top. Paula, Manual, Abdiel and the entire staff there made you feel like home — they are warm, attentive, and on top of everything. Everything felt so personalized, to the point they remember your order. This was by far one of the best, if not the best, service we’ve ever had. At the end of our week-long stay, we truly didn’t want to leave and already talked about coming back. We’re so grateful to Xela for making this trip unforgettable.
