My partner and I flew in from the UK to view Tulfarris as our wedding venue. we arrived on time and we were left waiting nearly a half hour after our appointment time was due to start with absolutely no explanation, all whilst being ignored by the wedding events co-ordinator who was more concerned with another person who had come to view the venue. She did not break off once to come over and apologise to us about the delay and ask was everything ok and if we were alright to wait. When I escalated to the reception staff that we had flown in from the UK and we were working to a timeline I was informed “I can’t go over and disturb that conversation”. It was at this point my partner and I decided to leave as if this is the level of customer service it would not be the sort of place where we would want to have our wedding. I would be very concerned about how lax they would be organising the event if they could not keep to appointments and couldn’t even come over and offer an apology or an explanation. Given its 4 star rating and championship golf course I would expect a high standard of customer service which was not the case. Would not recommend.

Enjoyed an overnight stay at this fantastic hotel. The views are amazing as you drive around to main entrance. Right from the start of my arrival I knew I had made the right choice in staying at this hotel. The lovely welcome & greeting received as I approached the reception desk from reception staff was a pleasure. Rooms are warm, clean and at a high standard, even the little touches of a welcome plate with sweet treats gives a nice start to your stay. Love the walk-in shower and the luxury touches of Rituals hair & body wash. Booked in for a meal in the restaurant and food was amazing top marks to the chef. Staff couldn't do enough. So pleasant and helpful. Bar was a lovely place to retreat after our meal. Buffet breakfast the following morning was great, no waiting around to be served. Enjoyed it so much we stayed for lunch to finish off our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel for a little getaway. Lorraine Birchall.

A delightful find. Saw this hotel advertised on The Late Late Show and decided to book a 3 night stay. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely Laura who recommended walks in the nearby Avon Ri and Ballymore Eustace. Her coffee recommendations did not disappoint either at Edna’s in Ballymore Eustace and The Hollywood Inn. My husband enjoyed a round of golf onsite and we also enjoyed a lovely walk on the front 9 when there were no golfers. The food is fabulous. We ate in the bar on our first night. Lovely bar staff and great to chat to whilst continuing to look after the customers. We enjoyed a 3course dinner on the other two of evenings in the restaurant and the staff were agin efficient and friendly particularly Olga and Nichola. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with lovely views of the golf course. Overall the hotel was great value, gorgeous scenery, excellent, efficient, friendly staff and we thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing break. Apparently there is a spa opening in the summer and this will be a super addition to a lovely hotel.

Went for a short break as our heating broke down during a freezing spell. The hotel is very bright and well laid out, with comfortable and attractive public areas. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable and warm with bright clean modern bathroom. Especially appreciated the coffee making facilities, which were replenished daily. The breakfast was good and the bar food couldn’t be faulted. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds for walks. Will definitely go back.

We came for a couples weekend away, played golf in such a peaceful beautiful tranquil course, and enjoyed the cold weather tucked up in the hotel bar and restaurant for the whole evening. The food far exceeded our expectations and more. Would highly recommend to all food lovers, golf fans and anyone looking for a break from city life - yet close to the city! The rooms where lovely and spacious very clean and we received a lovely hand written note congratulating our anniversary which I will cherish.

Fabulous stay at this hotel. Huge thanks to Laura who was on the front desk when we arrived for a late check in. She asked if we had eaten, and when she said no she went to the restaurant to ask then to hold us a table and took our order straight away as they where closing and we wouldn’t have had time to get checked in and then on for dinner. Fantastic service, would definitely come back.

A really nice surprise - the room was much fresher and nicer than we expected, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and we had a nice dinner and breakfast. The view from the restaurant over the golf course is very nice. We should come back in the summer to take full advantage of this place. Totally recommend it!

Lovely two night stay with dinner in both restaurants, great service by Georgia, Derek and Josh. Comfy room with view over hole 18. Bed was nice and comfortable with nice living room attached. Golf course was great! Sun made it even better!
