科瑞里亞科特飯店(Corralea Court)

A pleasant and clean hotel. Staff friendly and professional. However it was not made clear at the time if booking and confirmation that no breakfast was available. A bit evasive and underhand in my opinion. Fortunately there is a decent cafe across the road. A shame really as many of the reviews spoke of the good food on site which wasn't possible on our visit due to them having no chef. I hope they soon get this matter sorted as it is a very pleasant place to stay. We would return here if they can resolve this issue.

We stayed for a family funeral in September. We got a room at the front of the hotel. Unfortunately it overlooked the Square and the smell of chips from supermacs was overpowering. The windows weren’t able to keep out the noise from the square and it being Saturday night we didn’t get much sleep. The bathroom was clean and spacious but the carpets and covers in the bedroom were stained. There was what looked like a spit on the inside of the bedroom windows. We checked out earlier than planned and stayed elsewhere, but weren’t offered a refund. When we arrived it was pouring rain and followed the signs for the reception which was locked. We had to find our way in through a side door. Parts of this hotel are nice but it needs new windows, a good clean of the of the bedrooms and carpets and new signs to direct people to reception

I had my daughters christening in the hotel yesterday. All staff were excellent but I have to especially mention Aine and Kristine who couldn’t do enough for us. The meal was top class and everyone commented on how good the food was! Thanks for making my daughters day one to remember ❤️

I have stayed numerous times At the Corralea hotel , I am from Tuam so when visiting family which is very offer I stay at this hotel. This weekend we had to come down to visit a sick relative and had no choice to book the Corralea, it has changed hands recently and it shows. Not only was The charge for the room a humongous €180 double what we use to pay and no breakfast bar a cup of tea and slice of toast. There was music playing all night which kept us awake. The previous owners were helpful and welcoming. This hotel won’t last long with those prices and the staff not helpful at all. Will not be returning.

This is a lovely hotel right in the centre of Tuam. I stayed one night as I was passing through, the reception were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and warm. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Most places used Lockdown as an opportunity to freshen up the decor. The Corralea missed out on that. Nobody at reception when I arrived. It took a while to find someone to check me in. I was given a room at the front of the hotel. In order to have a nightmare it is first necessary to be asleep. I had my nightmare without the benefit of sleep. Midnight to 2.am was filled with the noise of people leaving the pubs and the nearby chipper. I slept from 2.am 'til 4.am. Then every lorry, tractor, cattle trailer and broken exhaust in Galway passed through the centre of Tuam. At 7.am the beer delivery lorry arrived. The noise of empty kegs being loaded made sure that no sleep would happen. Then the bin lorries arrived. No sleep. Then the daily routine began. No sleep. When checking out, the receptionist thought that all this was actually funny. If you do have to stay there, ask for a room at the back.
