維吉露斯山度假設計飯店(Vigilius Mountain Resort by Design Hotels)

Il Vigilius Mountain resort è un nostro posto del “cuore” Lo abbiamo scoperto molti anni fa e da allora siamo sempre ritornati anno dopo anno in tutte le stagioni. L’albergo si raggiunge in funivia e quindi è il posto ideale per chi come noi ama passare alcuni giorni immerso nella natura e lontano dal frastuono. Inoltre la luce del luogo e l atmosfera che si respira dentro e fuori il resort disegnato da Matteo Thun sono assolutamente magici. A questo va aggiunto che Il personale è super gentile, cosa non banale e scontata, la cucina sia al ristorante che nella Stube è curata con una eccellente carta dei vini e la spa , anche se non troppo grande come oggi ahimè va di moda, è bellissima e tenuta in modo impeccabile come del resto tutto il resort. Posto assolutamente da consigliare.

erano almeno 15 anni che volevo vederlo, all'epoca fece notizia per l'archistar che l'ha disegnato. finalmente ci sono stato , dopo aver visto , penso, tutti i 5 stelle dell'Alto Adige. Punti a favore: bella struttura, belle le camere, le cene ottime, personale simpatico e gentile , almeno alla reception. Ottimo punto di partenza per trekking in posti splendidi (ci si arriva solo in funivia, ma ne parte un'altra dall'hotel per salire ancora più in vetta). La tranquillità. Punti a sfavore: - molti piccoli errori (un po' più di una casualità, quasi un segno di inesperienza.. da parte di tutti: assegnata camera sbagliata, menù del giorno prima...), - manca una palestra, per chi ci tiene è importante, ed è il primo 5 stelle dove non l'ho trovata. Non mi si può dire che la palestra è il trekking.. - manca il bar, ci sono delle soluzioni sostitutive ma non è la stessa cosa. - la SPA è davvero modesta. L'unica piscina utilizzabile è divisa in due: 6 m quadrati all'interno e 6 all'esterno. più di 4 persone non ci stanno per lato. L'altra piscina, posta all'interno, non è riscaldata, solo qualche temerario la utilizza in inverno. C'è un bagno turco di 3 m quadrati e una sola sauna. Non paragonabile alle SPA di altre strutture. Forse l'archiastar doveva dare meno spazio ai corridoi e pensare di più alle esigenza dei clienti. Il sabato pomeriggio non ci si sta. - colazione stranamente modesta per un hotel del luogo. In particolare una scelta striminzita di dolci. - MANCA IL BIDET!! ma stiamo scherzando?? siamo in Italia!! In complesso una buona struttura per chi vuole fare trekking nella natura e riposarsi un'oretta in SPA al ritorno. Non adatto a chi pensa di fare una vacanza esclusivamente nella SPA dell'hotel

Sehr schönes Hotel in wunderschöner Landschaft. Die Zimmer sind ausgezeichnet, das Personal im SPA und im Restaurant sind sehr freundlich und kompetent. Leichte Abstriche mache ich beim Team “Rezeption”, da wünsche ich mir deutlich mehr Professionalität, schriftlich bestätigte Absprachen werden einfach ignoriert und dem Hotel-Management scheint das nichts auszumachen. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, muss sich auf ein Parkhaus einstellen, das im Gegensatz zu den 5 Hotelsternen maximal 1 Stern wert ist. Und wer mit einem Elektro-PKW anreist, der darf sich im hintersten Eck des Parkhauses an der universellen Ladestation mit allen Nicht-Tesla-PKWs um das einzige Ladekabel streiten und selbst wenn man Glück hatte, wird der PKW zwar geladen aber ich wurde 2mal eingeparkt und hatte große Schwierigkeiten, den Parkplatz wieder zu verlassen. Es gibt übrigens 2 Tesla-Ladestationen aber auf diesen Parkplätzen wurde nie ein Tesla gesichtet. Fazit: tolles Hotel für Benziner und Diesel-Fahrer, Fahrer von Elektro-PKWs sind hier definitiv an der falschen Adresse - ich kenne für dieses Klientel weitaus bessere 5 Sterne Hotels in Südtirol!

Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene, forse perché eravamo solamente in 6 ospiti durante il nostro soggiorno e tutta la struttura sembrava a nostra disposizione. Ci è piaciuto l'arrivo (prendere la funivia in solitaria ed essere accolti a monte è stato un ottimo inizio!). La camera confortevole, la zona camino con l'ottima libreria a disposizione, la ricca colazione e la zona spa ci hanno fatto passare momenti rilassanti, ma più di tutto le viste verso l'esterno che si susseguono man mano che ci si muove mentre entra il sole radente. Due note negative: i corridoi stonano rispetto al resto, sono zone anonime e sproporzionate, ma soprattutto la cena, decisamente non a livello di tutto il resto.

Das Hotel verfügt lediglich über 41 Zimmer, davon 6 Suiten. Eine Bar gibt es nicht. Das verstärkt die unglaubliche Ruhe, die dieser Ort ohnehin schon ausstrahlt. Vom Bozener Star-Architekten Matteo Thun eingebettet in die Landschaft, erinnert das Hotel an einen liegenden Baumstamm. Es ist von innen und außen ein absolutes Erlebnis. Immer wieder entdeckt man neue, kleine Details. Das Hotel ist im Wesentlichen aus Holz gebaut und auch ansonsten durch und durch nachhaltig (u.a. intelligente Sonnennutzung durch Holzlamellen, Gründach, Hackschnitzelheizung, kontrollierte Raumlüftung statt Klimaanlage, Lehmwände zur Feuchtigkeitsregulierung). Das Wasser in Bad, Pool etc. stammt aus den zahlreichen umliegenden Quellen. Die Umgebung besteht aus dichtem Lärchenwald mit wunderbar saftigen, artenreichen Bergwiesen. Kindheitserinnerungen kommen auf, wenn man diese unberührte Natur genießt. Schon im m Hotelzimmer ist dieses Erlebnis leicht möglich: Man muss einfach nur die Balkontür öffnen und hat das Gefühl, mitten in der Natur zu sein. Das Frühstück ist außerordentlich gut. Man hat die Auswahl aus zahlreichen vorwiegend regionalen Spezialitäten. Kulinarisch wird ansonsten tagsüber in der Stube Ida Bodenständiges auf hohem Niveau serviert. Abends steht das Restaurant 1500 für feine Küche einschließlich einer hervorragenden Weinauswahl zur Verfügung. Und vorher, zwischen 18:30 und 19:30 Uhr, wird zum täglichen Aperitif gebeten - gereicht werden kleine Häppchen und leckere Weine. Geleitet wird das Hotel seit dem Jahreswechsel durch Frau Vera Dejori und Frau Eva-Maria Zöggerle. Sie sind wie der Großteil des Teams jung und echte Locals. Es herrscht eine freundliche, fast schon familiär-vertraute Atmosphäre. Das liegt auch an den vielen Stammgästen, die das Hotel seit vielen Jahren treu begleiten. Da möchte man sich einfach nur anschließen. Morgens, mittags und nachmittags wird ein entspanntes Programm angeboten - im Wesentlichen Ausflüge in die Natur, Yoga und Sport. Absolut lehrreich und empfehlenswert. Ansonsten kann man im SPA-Bereich auf drei verschiedenen Terrassen entspannen und sich sonnen (Sauna, Pool, Dach). Ganz oben ist es am ruhigsten. Einen Grund, diese Idylle zu verlassen und ins Tal zu fahren, gibt es nicht. Nochmals danke für den schönen Aufenthalt an das gesamte Team!

Eine architektonische Seele hatte das Vigilius schon immer. Aber nun haben Vera und Eva, die neuen Direktorinnen, ihm nach der Neueröffnung auch eine menschliche Seele gegeben. Die beiden sind sichtbare Gastgeberinnen und immer ansprechbar. Überhaupt spürt man, dass das ganze Team mit vielen neuen Gesichtern die Gäste mit viel guter Laune umsorgen möchte. Das hat dem Haus lange gefehlt. Und macht den Aufenthalt jetzt noch schöner! Die Auszeit während des Baus der moderneren Seilbahn wurde für einige Umbauten und Renovierungen des Hauses genutzt. Sauna und Dampfbad wurden verlegt und die neue, größere Sauna befindet sich nun beim neuen Ruhebereich. Und die Rezeption ist nun auch dem Ist zugewandter. Als sichtbares Zeichen eines herzlichen Empfangs. Wir kommen wieder. Immer wieder. Und jetzt mit noch mehr Freude

I have stayed at this hotel more than a dozen times over the past 10+ years. I remain positive about the hotel (see pros), but I am developing some concerns (see cons) that are causing me to reconsider. The shifting clientele may reflect some of my ‘cons’: formerly a mix of British/American, Italian & German to what seems to be primarily a German/Austrian clientele Pros: a groundbreaking eco hotel that is still ahead of its time Great rooms and public areas in great condition…it is hard to believe the hotel was built 20 years ago Great car-free location with nice views plus peace & quiet as you reach it by a lift that takes you high above the town of Lana Great guest spaces: spa, sauna, pools, sun decks, library Nice chairlift that is free to hotel guests from 9 to 17:00 Cons: The 2nd, informal restaurant/bar no longer serves dinner so there is no bar open in the evening nor an informal dining option On my last few stays the food in the high end restaurant (the only choice) has definitely slipped in terms of quality while increasing in terms of price Logging in the areas above the hotel and new construction have made several of the trails less appealing The switch to allowing dogs is, for me, a big negative as some owners do not control their pets properly (I.e. dog on dog scrimmages, dogs in the lounge, dogs let out to run loose outside). Fortunately, so far no dogs are allowed in the high end restaurant. The frequent staff turnover results in a lack of continuity in service and procedure The hotel itself is a great design and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The public spaces are quite large, varied and well thought out for a smal to medium sized hotel. Given the number of high end alternative resorts in the area and the ‘cons’ that are surfacing, Vigilius is slipping its former status as ‘the clear choice’ to ‘a possible choice’.

this time we stayed 5 nights in one of the beautiful suites. although the weather was not as good as usual there we enjoyed a relaxed time again. the swimming pool is perfect for everyone and the restaurant is great with excellent service.

Great place to unplug and get lost in nature... The architecture blends perfectly with the surrounding, the food is delicious and the customer service is top notch. Lovely walks in the area and fantastic view from the hotel itself. Highly recommended!
