A light fixture in the original room exploded and lit on fire, there is no extinguisher in the rooms, only down the hallways. Took maintenance a solid 5 minutes to get to the room even though I called and said there was an active flame (albeit not a large one, but a flame). They were able to book us into another room but with limited help as their system was down and unable to create new keys right away. no refund/discount offered, no free parking offered, nothing.

The guys at the reception had no clue about anything. Upon asking anything his response was ‘I don’t know’ and asked his colleague if she knew. We had 3 room reservations and requested if the rooms can be close on same floor or have an apartment with 3 bedrooms and response was they have 3 separate reservations and cannot do anything. For 3 rooms, I had to pay 6 times at check in (2 times per room to cover the Resort Fee and Incidental Fees) - such a waste. And finally after requesting a crib in a room at the time of reservation, I asked which room has the crib - the same standard response ‘I don't know’. Finally, the double bed in the room was dirty with nuts and food items spread on the sheets.

Property is beautiful and room was great but there was construction in the area that we were not aware of which ruined the relaxing part of our stay. No one wants to sit out on a balcony to watch the mountains and then only hear giant trucks moving around. Also grinding machines were so loud! It def ruined that part of our stay. We traveled first week of Oct 2023.

Front desk is not very helpful , seems not interested in giving proper instructions to us. Girl helped us find parking but was extremely rude with very inadequate etiquette to guest at all. Portable air conditioning and one was not working, they got it fixed though. Village is dead at night, no entertainment at all. Not coming back.

Unfortunately, not a quiet or relaxing stay. Room was 83 degrees upon arrival. Called maintenance to fix AC unit. It never really got cool inside. Funky smell in the room which didn't go away. Blow dryer was broken. The door to the patio on ground floor didnt lock so we had to jimmy a chair against the handle. 9am a gardener was **** whacking right outside our patio. Also parking lot noise and kids partying in the parking lot from 8:30p-10:30p hooting and hollering. Called front desk to send security over yet didn't happen.

Plenty of options for dining and shopping, Restaurants are $-$$ price range as expected at a resort. 30 minutes to an hour away from lake activities and towns. Crisp mountain air and spectacular views, this is a The place to call homebase for next vacation

I like the suites, which has a nice look, and well furnished, plenty of room to relax in. The Village is nice too, with some energy from the events tonight. Easy parking, beautiful valley.

It was my daughters 9th birthday and we decided to head up to Tahoe to visit and go horseback riding. Everything went smooth, & the place was amazing all around. Beautiful views! Couldn’t have asked for anything better.
