高原飯店(Hotel Oberland)

Das Personal, welches beim Frühstück anwesend war, war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich habe glutenfreies Brot erhalten und es gab auch glutenfreies Müesli und Hafermilch. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super und reichhaltig.

This is a self check-in hotel with no staff after 11 a.m. We had an emergency and we were not able to call the rental car company in Germany on our personal cell phones. The lack of staffing and there not being any phones at the hotel, made the difficult situation much worse. There was a number for a reception, but that was not helpful. The next morning, Francisca, the breakfast staff, let us use her personal phone to make the necessary calls for assistance. She was a blessing. Beware that the hotel room gets very hot in late June and there is no air conditioning There just happened to be road construction on the busy, noisey road in front of the hotel. Also, the nearby church bells start ringing at 6 a.m. and stop at 10 p.m.

This is a self-check-in hotel which is easy to check in using your reservation information and your credit card. The rooms are really nice and the breakfast was good. If the hotel restaurant is not open, there are a few others nearby within walking distance, but be aware that Liechtenstein apparently still allows people to smoke in restaurants - we went to the Edelweiss restaurant and while the local food was good, having to sit inside with someone smoking 3 metres away was not good!

Great little spot! I loved the self check-in. Although it took me a couple tries to get it to accept my credit card. (You don’t get charged, it’s just for security reasons). The breakfast was amazing, and I also loved the honesty bar. My only complaint was the bed in the single room was not that comfortable. But still, I would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Our balcony had an amazing view of the Swiss alps and down into the Liechtenstein valley. We ended up watching sunrise and sunset from there and even enjoyed going out at night to look at the stars. The hotel itself is clean and updated without losing some traditional charm. The staff was minimal but very efficient. Would love to stay here again.

It is a wonderful small hotel that caters to its guests very well. Views are beautiful and it being a first visit to Liechtenstein, it was well worth the trip.

I understand that it is a self-checking hotel, but I was very surprised that there was no staff at all throughout the stay. I had so many questions to ask besides check-in. Unfortunately, there was no one to assist. You cannot even select your room (as there was no receptionist). I did not like my balcony, it was not private (shared). I felt as if it was a false advertisement for the suite. If you have any problem, you have to call a number left. So to stay in this hotel you must have your phone working and ready to pay for the expensive roaming charge. I only wanted to ask where to take the covid PCR test (for my return flight requirement), this has cost me a lot on the phone bill. The person I talked to was also not very helpful. At first, she stressed out to me that this is just a hotel, she shouldn't be assisting me on this (traveled twice a month, first time I received this kind of response). Finally, she gave me a number to call (after telling her I was disappointed without her assistance). The whole area around this hotel was also very dull and boring.
