Lovely welcome,from Dave and Heather great host it’s now a cafe serving a great selection of meals, breakfast was superb,room was very comfy and clean highly recommended stayed here for antique fair, was only 20 minutes down the road, will be booking there again

A friendly welcome from the landlord and a helpful waitress made us at home. Our large main meals were very tasty; succulent full rack of ribs and a home made crispy battered fish mains were delicious and generous portions. Excellent value. Highly recommended

Homemade from scratch steak & kidney pudding was delicious and surprisingly light and wonderful friendly owners. Large and small groups. Open from 6pm most days. Sunday lunch has great choice to buy always better to book. See you soon guys.

Stayed at the trout inn for two nights whilst attending the Royal Welsh show. Very warm and friendly welcome from Dave the proprietor and wife Heather. First morning breakfast was packed as we had to leave early, this lasted us all day. The sit down full Welsh breakfast is one of the best I have had. Evening meals were varied and our meals, Ribeye steak first night and lamb shank second night were very well prepared and reasonably priced. Wish Dave and Heather good luck in their future ventures and thanks for a very nice stay

Have been for lunch today with my husband. No one in pub when we walked in. Asked for 2 teas I asked for 1 with soya and one with cows milk. They had no soya, only oat but it was out if date. So I went for a soft drink. Ordered scampi and chips x 2. When the food arrived there was 8 pieces of scampi and a few chips if you can call them that. Thin skinny chips with skin on and very flacid and not very nice. A few lettuce leaves 2 slice of tomato, 2 slices of cucumber,and raw onion. The scampi didn't taste like scampi. In fact the meal was not very appetising. We paid £12.95 each for that.We won't be going back.

Our stay at The Trout Inn was very good. The room was clean and fresh with everything we needed. Lovely pub atmosphere and dining room. The food was excellent for our evening meal and breakfast was also very good. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Dave and Heather.
