La posizione della struttura é davvero invidiabile. Dieci passi, e non esagero, dal lungo lago che si affaccia direttamente sul castello di Trakai. Parcheggio riservato all'atto della prenotazione della stanza. Ho scelto la suite con vista castello. Personale davvero squisito, disponibile che ci ha illustrato tutti i comfort della struttura. Stanza spaziosa, con arredamento caratteristico e con vista davvero mozzafiato sul castello. Abbiamo usufruito della SPA privata per 1h30 minuti (anch'essa riservata all'atto della prenotazione) nella quale abbiamo potuto godere di una jacuzzi, una sauna ed un bagno turco. Qualità del sonno ottima, cuscini e materassi ok. Bagno non eccessivamente grande ma pulitissimo. Sicuramente soggiornerei ancora in questa bellissima e esclusiva struttura. Nulla in particolare. se dovessi segnalare uno spunto di miglioramento indicherei il Wifi. Infatti, siamo riusciti a connettere il telefono, ma non i dispositivi quali PC e tablet (non fondamentale in quanto con il roaming EU non abbiamo avuto problemi).

Trakai is the one place in Lithuania where people really know to charge you - and this "hotel" sadly is no exception. We stayed in the family room in the enclosed old house, mix and match of old furniture, smell in room, bed ridden out. Yes there is a wonderful view to the castle but when you spend all day there - do you really need this? My personal answer is no. This was the most expensive hotel during our trip but by a mile our least favourite, most of the room rates goes for the location.

We are visiting this hotel for the second time, and fell like here like home. We will definitely come next year and recommend to friends. The view from the window of room No. 12 cannot be compared to any view of the hotels visited in the EU or Asia. Great location, view and feeling.

We came here for a wedding. The location is great. Food is very good. Even breakfast fantastic. The view to the castle is spectacular. A specialy at night time.. make sure you book a room with a view to the castle.

For those seeking an authentic experience in Trakai, I recommend this great room in an old Karaimai house with a view of the castle. While it may not suit those who prefer luxury, it will charm the ones, that want to feel the spirit of the town. The room itself is spacious and well-equipped with a mini fridge, kettle, sink, two coffee tables, and a bathroom with a bathtub. The balcony offers stunning views of the Trakai castle. Location-wise, it couldn't be better - the castle, a cafe, and restaurant are all right here. There is also a number of Kibinai cafes around to enjoy a meal or take out. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.

The service of this hotel was reminiscent of that of hotels in Russia during Soviet times. During my stay, I often wondered if Lithuania was still part of the USSR. Before we arrived at the hotel, we asked them to book a taxi for us from Trakai railway station. They did so and asked us to confirm that we had received the relevant information. That was very professionally done (this and the view of the castle from our hotel room were the only good things about this hotel). Unfortunately, it was downhill all the way from there. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception was empty. It took us some time to find a waitress from the Bona Restaurant to give us our room key card. We then had dinner. During all this time, nobody talked to us about breakfast on the next day. We did not check our messages that evening either because we thought that important information would be given to us in person. On the next morning, we found that the hotel and the restaurant were empty at 09:00 and breakfast was not to be found. At 11:00, one of the receptionist returned and said that she had sent us a message via the booking website to tell us that breakfast would start at 11:00 (this was true; the same message also told us that we would have to check in by ourselves). Her explanation was that, since she had sent the email, she was absolved of all responsibility. I told her that we could not be expected to check our messages regularly, and that she should have told us in person the previous evening; if they asked us to confirm the taxi booking, they should also ask us to confirm check-in and breakfast details. Besides, starting breakfast at 11:00 is ultra-late by any European standards and is in our view unacceptable. The attitude of this staff member reminded me of the attitude of hotel staff in Moscow in the 1980s. Other special features of this hotel included: dinner was only available before 18:00, the spa was always closed and hot water was not available at 07:00. It appeared that the hotel was half closed; most of the facilities were not available or they were available at times convenient to the staff, not to the guests. We visited Trakai in February, which was low season. I can understand if they did not want to offer the full service but we should have been informed before we booked. As it was, we felt cheated. In conclusion, a very irresponsible hotel staff with absolutely no idea of customer service. Those two days made us feel that Lithuania had not gained independence and was still part of the USSR.

L’hôtel est très bien situé à deux pas du château. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur le château (n.5), magnifique. Mais ça ne fait pas tout. La chambre était jolie et spacieuse, mais la salle de bain était, elle, vétuste, les murs n’étaient pas finis et la cabine de douche plus que vieillotte. L’insonorisation était inexistante, on entendait au dessus et dans la couloirs. Pour le petit déjeuner, qui était compris dans le prix, nous avons appris à notre arrivée qu’il était servi de 12h à 13h. Je n’appelle pas ça un petit déjeuner, mais un déjeuner… Nous n’avons jamais vu sans en 10 ans d’hôtellerie. Ne pouvant rester jusqu’à 12h, nous sommes partis sans petit déjeuner. Je trouve ça plus que limite. Donc à part pour la vue, je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel.

Meine Frau und ich kennen Trakai seit Jahren sehr gut, und zum Abschluss unserer Baltikum-Reise in diesem Sommer wollten wir uns eine Nacht mit Blick auf die Burg gönnen. Das Apvalaus Stalo Klubas Hotel ist dabei erste Wahl, denn es liegt direkt am See, und der Blick vom Balkon unseres Familienzimmers war wie erwartet wunderbar. Zusätzlich gönnten wir uns ein Abendessen im schicken Restaurant des Hotels - ebenfalls toll. So viel zu den Vorteilen. Unterm Strich muss man aber sagen: Bei über 200 Euro für die Übernachtung stimmt die Leistung nicht. Das Familienzimmer ist zwar malerisch in einem alten Holzhaus neben dem eigentlichen Hotel gelegen und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Aber die Isolierung ist entsprechend nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. Es war zu warm. Der Boden knarzt so laut, dass ich froh war, nicht unter uns zu wohnen. Leider macht die Schlafcouch bei jeder Bewegung ebenso laute Geräusche - gesunder Schlaf unmöglich. Es wurden nur kleine Handtücher gestellt, keine Badetücher. Kostenloses Wasser im Zimmer: Fehlanzeige. Vor allem aber hat das Hotel sein Frühstück - sehr geschickt - an die zugehörige Pizzeria "outgesourced", und jetzt zahlt man extra - in unserem Fall nochmal fast 60 Euro. Für Kinder war im Frühstücksmenü ebenso nichts dabei. Dann noch 10 Euro für den Parkplatz. Das sind dann schon bald 300 Euro für die Nacht - absolut kein Maßstab für die erbrachte Leistung. Es war sehr schön, morgens draußen zu frühstücken - vor allem bevor die Mitarbeiter die völlig unnötige Popmusik auf der Terrasse anstellten - und die Atmosphäre am See mit Blick auf die Burg zu genießen. Aber nochmal würden wir das jetzt wohl bei solchen Preisen nicht mehr machen.
