Zo gehorig. vreselijk/. je kan de gasten in de omliggende kamers woordelijk verstaan/ de gasten maken ook veel lawaai/ heel storend/ kamer si prima, bed idem, badkamer klein en ietwat schimmelvorming/. ramen kunnen niet open/ geen verse lucht/ ontbijt is goed. dinner is UITSTEKEND ! Sunday Roast is subliem/. kom ik terug? misschien, want et hotel ligt goe centraal en is heel authentiek/ personeel echt absoluut klant vriendelijk/. maar het gehorige aan de kamers is niet goed voor je nachtrust!

Had a wonderful afternoon tea at the Saracens Head. We arrived to find our table beautifully decorated and laid out ready for us with pretty napkins, traditional afternoon tea style plates and tea cups. Our waitress Sarah was lovely and very attentive offering us a welcoming bottle of Prosecco and a huge pot of tea. The food arrived on a three tiered plate stand and it looked and tasted delicious. Finger sandwiches, amazing warm scones with cream and jam and a lovely yummy selection of cakes. It was really special, thank you!

Me and my husband were craving a roast dinner without the hard work. We booked here for the first time and had a lovely meal, very generous in size. We would definitely come again. We had the beef and turkey with sides of pigs in blankets and left wanting a Sunday nanny nap. The Restaurant was very clean and tidy and David who looked after us was charming.

I have been coming here for about three years now and I have always had exceptional service and the food has always been great. This was the first time though I had had a Sunday roast dinner out for many years as I often find them disappointing but to my surprise this one was spot on. Dave was an exceptional host always seemed to pop up and the right time and made me and my family feel welcome. Will definitely keep coming back. Geoff and Amanda

Amazing food and great hospitality. Ideally situated in Towcester. Plenty of seats and outside sitting area, lovely for the summer days and evenings.

Have stayed here before - and it's just as good as the previous times we've stayed. On site car parking which is very much needed in Towcester, it's not the easiest place to park in. Comfortable room, although it's 'executive' label may have been a touch optimistic. Nothing wrong with it though. One of the better breakfasts I've had in places like this. Nice bar, with an OK range of ales. Towcester itself has some great pubs in it, it's worth a visit for a night.

We booked a room as we had a family funeral. Staff were most helpful and allowed us to check in early if needed so we could drop our belongings off. The room was lovely. The beds and pillows are really comfy and we had a great nights sleep. It was rather hot as windows only open slightly but there was a fan which helped keep the room cooler. We didn't eat here on this occasion but we have in the past and the food is fabulous too. Would recommend the Saracens Head and we will be back soon. Thanks again
