We had a wonderful stay at Oasis Tossa Spa hotel. Having been to Costa Brava back in 2017 we were keen to stay closer to Tossa de Mar which we loved. The hotel was walking distance to the shops, beach and castle and we were able to park our hire car on the nearby road. The hotel itself was perfect for us and our 10 month old. The staff were attentive and friendly, particularly Maribel, Olvi and the show cooks who gave our little one lots of fuss. The outdoor pool was cold, but it was brilliant having the option of the using the indoor pool in the evening. We were full board and the food was delicious with lots of choice - only negative was dinner being at 8pm. The hotel was comfortable, cleaned daily and had everything we needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. We hope to return one day!

Excellent hotel. Very clean and food brilliant. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice to go to a hotel where people are not reserving sunbeds all day. There was always somewhere to sit. The rooftop pool and seating for adults was also very good. Some kind of entertainment on every evening in comfortable lounge seating area. Room cleaned and beds made everyday. They have thought of everything to make the holiday experience a good one. If I had to pick a fault - perhaps the bathroom in room would be better with walk in shower rather than bath.

We paid nearly £2000 for a week here. On arrival we were shown to a room about 120 sq ft area with a Double Bed looking out to another part of the hotel. Not acceptable we said. We were shown to another room with a very small terrace , but even smaller about 100 sq ft.. We tried this room for 3 hours. Rang TUI to complain. Rang Travel Agency to complain. Went back to reception to complain. Shown another room which was bigger and lovely view of Car Park.! Took it- fed Up. What is the Industry Standard for a Double Room.? Does putting a Double bed in a Box-Room make it a Double.? This was totally unacceptable. Unbelievable.! The Hotel has no ambience, no lounge, no tourist leaflets. The young guy on Recepcion was obviously trained at the SS training school for hotel assistants. There is a serious Health and Safety issue at this Hotel. From Recepcion to the Dining Area there are three flights of stairs. 21 steps in all. There is NO handrail on any of these and it is dimly lit. Moreover the steps are painted a dirty brown with no edging. This in a Hotel supposedly catering for elderly people. This is NOT a 4Star Hotel. It shouts 2 star Budget. Breakfast is just about adequate- nothing sensational. Didn't stay for evening Meal so cant comment on that. Apart from guy on front desk rest of staff are very nice and helpful. Location is good for Beach- quite a walk into town and not a flat walk either. Pool small but OK - sunbeds adequate. TIP ---Gran Reymar - next door a better bet.
