Eine wunderschöne erholsame Woche in Tortola … danke dem Managerehepaar und vor allem …. Andrea danke für deine persönliche Betreueung. Und was du uns beim check versprochen hattest - we re easy here- stimm zu 100%. Wer es gerne persönlich , ruhig und abseits vom Trubel hat ist hier genau richtig. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend und auch den AI Plan mit den beiden includierten Ausflügen die auch vom Hotelbesitzer begleitet wurden … nur zu empfehlen

The staff at the hotel were great and the main restaurant was excellent. I'm told its the best restaurant on the island. The room we stayed in was a nice size and clean. The bathroom was in need of a major redo. I think they are slowly updating all the rooms. I know it is difficult to get parts on the island, but a lot of little things needed fixing. The screen door to the patio was missing a handle, the bathroom sink stopper didn't work and cabinet drawers stuck etc. It is a nice location and we did enjoy the restaurant and pleasant staff. I definitely would wait until the updating is finished before returning.

What a wonderful spot tucked in the hills of Tortola! Beautiful setting, friendly management and staff, perfect accommodations, great food and drink!

The Sugar Mill certainly lived up to the reviews on Tripadvisor. I stayed with my wife here on the All Inclusive for a 2 week stay, with the intention of doing nothing, apart from relax and enjoy the hotel and all it offered. Rupert and Andrea the hotel Managers are both great at what they do, friendly, approachable and very helpful with plenty of time for their guests. The staff throughout the hotel are all friendly, some exceptional but unfortunately I don't remember their names. We took both trips offered as part of the All Inclusive, the Island tour with Rupert who is very informative as well as fun with plenty of food and drink. The Catamaran trip with Denis the hotel owner and Rupert, great trip with good snorkelling and plenty of food and drink again. We enjoyed the pool area and beach, some times we had them to ourselves, both have comfortable loungers. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the gardens and a sea view. The breakfast/lunch restaurant overlooking the beach serves great food and has amazing views as does the main restaurant which has a large varied variety of food and a good selection of wines. Its a comfortable, characterful charming hotel, not uber modern, not corporate, its just how it should be. All in all we had an amazingly relaxed time at the Sugar Mill. I hope to return in the very near future. Thanks again to Rupert and Andrea and the rest of the staff.

Delightful spot in the BVIs looking out to Jost Van Dyke Island. A charming boutique hotel with helpful friendly staff, spacious rooms and an excellent restaurant and beach bar. Everything you need for a relaxing few days to totally unwind.

The entire resort was all you could wish for! Great room, superb food every meal, quiet location, private beach w/ bar…. And the staff is top notch

We absolutely loved our stay at Sugar Mill! When we first pulled in, the small size made we a little nervous but then it actually became one of the many reasons we loved it! The people and service make it special! We got to know everyone during the week we were there (including guests!) and it was a pleasure. I would say do the 7 day all inclusive and enjoy all the food, drinks and excursions they have to offer. We loved the included tour of Tortola with a champagne picnic lunch. As well as the day on their boat snorkeling and enjoying the day. The Friday night BBQ with live music is so much fun too! Andrea and Rupert the managers are always on hand to help in any way. They actually helped book an extra boat excursion one day so we could see some other islands. We stayed in the Honeymoon Cottage which we loved but I would probably choose an upper level room in the Plantation House next time. I was also nervous about there being only 2 restaurants but the food is some of the best we have ever eaten! The main restaurant is open air and does not have air conditioning so keep that in mind when packing. The King Neptune was my favorite entree and even had it for 3 nights while we were there! And for sure do not over pack! You only need swimsuits and light shorts or dresses for dinner. If you are looking for a lively night time place…this is probably not it. But if you are looking for relaxation, great food and service I could not recommend it more!

Much more than luxurious lodging and exemplary dining, a stay at the Sugar Hill Hotel is a zenith experience. It's the stuff romantics dream about, poets pen sonnets on, and discerning travelers feel victorious upon finding. The sway of languid palms, beguiling fragrance of jasmine, glow of candlelight, and beckoning of the azure sea all flirt with you, and.... you blissfully surrender. Disney move over.... MAGIC is HERE!

This hotel delivers the best of the old Caribbean combined with great food and a terrific management team and staff. In particular, don’t miss a massage with Marjorie. She is world class and a Sugar Mill highlight. Head chef, Bernard, with years of experience is also one of a kind. Best value for your dollar in the Caribbean!
