We stayed two nights at the Vila Gale hotel, as we were part of a group, our bus was unable to reach the entrance we had to walk about half a block, the lobby is amazing with lots of details of history of Tomar and the way to the rooms is hidden behind a door that is covered with decorations. Since it is a very old building, that also is connected to another one across the street, there is an elevated bridge and that connects to the dining room and other rooms. My room was very nice and warm, the bathroom is large and comfortable, just there was a tiny problem with the shower drain, but I shared the info with the reception. The hotel is beautiful and worth the visit, Food was excellent at breakfast and dinner....will return

Bom hotel, boa localização, funcionários educados, ótimo café da manhã, muito limpo. Tem um ou dois lances de escadas pra subir e/ou descer, sendo difícil pra carregar malas. Quartos amplos com ventilação excelente, se tiveres a sorte de ficar num andar mais alto, no terceiro piso por exemplo terás uma vista boa até do Rio Tejo, mas se ficar no piso 2 não terá vista alguma. Recomendo o hotel

From the moment we entered to property we knew this was a special place. The staff was warm and welcoming. Angela was amazing!! The grounds were so peaceful and beautiful and our room was charming and extremely comfortable. The outdoor space was wonderful and the breakfast was incredible. I wish this was closer to home…I would be visit all the time!!
